Reviews on Seafood food in Liapades, Ionian Islands, Greece. Liapades (Greek: Λιαπάδες) is a medium-sized village located on the northwest side of Corfu, 4 km (2 miles) away from Palaiokastritsa. It has a quiet, agriculture-based economy during the winter. In the summer, the local industry mostly relies on the tourist trade, although the place is by no means mainstream. Liapades is situated on the sides of Kourkouli mountain, and spread right up to the North Valley (Πάνω Λιβάδι in Greek).

Since 1965, Vrachos serves contemporary Greek cuisine that blends Mediterranean flavors with Corfiot specialities. Located between the rock and the sea, with panoramic view to the the bay, Vrachos boasts spectacular views that become even more romantic af
We ate at Vrachos 2 or 3 times during our week stay in Paleokastritsa. Food was great, good selection and the staff were brilliant - really friendly and loved having our 4-year old there. Highly recommend, but lunchtimes can be VERY busy as the holiday coaches have selected it for their stops (canât blame them as best value for money place we found around the port itself).

Just returned from Paleokastritsa self catering around the corner from this restaurant. We spent most of our visit choosing to dine in this restaurant as it's the very best. Service is ever so friendly from everyone we met there. The food is also the best, every dish we choose from the extensive menu was excellent. On my last night I had the Mixed Fish Grill and it was very good. Plenty of selection from swordfish to Cod and Octopus served with potatoes Chips rice salad. It's pretty reasonable with great table wine that was very drinkable. If your going to Eat out or Takeaway then this is the best place to go.Can highly recommend Thank you to everyone

We were very disappointed with the food given the great reviews which drove us there. Moussaka was stuffy. Grilled calamari was also disappointing. Hi Bebe personnel was nice and welcoming. Service was good as well.

Went in here a lot...had the seafood spaghetti twice and on each occasion it was different but gorgeous. This family run restaurant has lovely views of the bay, itâs nice and relaxed..the family all have their role and itâs great to watch..you can even see them beavering away in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend The Dolphin.

To our surprise, the waiter was rude and told us that only starters cannot be ordered and asked us to leave. We went there as it was recommended by the apartment owner where we were staying. Since it was post-lunch time we just wanted to eat something that could satiate our little hunger and hence ordered starters only. This was very rude behaviour and bad customer experience. Any restaurant should not rule what the customers should order and what not, no matter the quality of food you serve. I suggest the restaurant owner to consider this fact and understand that flashing âcelebrities and parliamentary visit usâ in the menu card will not get them customers but rather proper customer experience!! My message to the owner is to offer us an apology for the bad experience and also to re-think its policy so that other customers would not have to go through the same experience as us.

Been visiting the Akron for the past 6 years and it never fails to disappoint the service and facilities improve each year all the staff work to a excellent standard always very polite, first class and nothing is never too much trouble. The facilities are very modern and chic you will find very comfortable sunbeds with umbrellas that you can rent daily beach towels can also be provided at an additional cost. The latest cocktail menu and an excellent food menu offering food such as homemade burgers to sea food platters all cooked to perfection. There is also a medium size pool if you don't want to go in the sea and also a small play area for small children. Really does cater for all.

In 1985 Chef Aristeides Stravoravdis after having completed a long and successful carreer in international and Greek cousine - starting at Club Med in Corfu and continuing at Club Med in St Mortiz and many other high class hotels on the island- he decided
Wasnât our first choice-they were closed until a bit later so this was on our way home. Jackpot-brilliant! Trish reckons the best meal we have since been away-certainly the best Chardonnay! Not easy to get a really good one in Greece but this was excellent. Meals tasty and excellent portions. Service excellent-really nice to read reviews after you have been (sometimes!) and come to the same conclusion! Highly recommend!Thank you for your kind an honest words. We work very hard on sourcing the best ingredients and cooking them with care. It means a lot to keep our customers happy, especially when they have travelled a long way to visit Greece. Look forward to having you again

Lovely seafood taverna set up from the road with a view down the valley to the sea. All the food we had very good, as was the service, all at a very reasonable price, but what makes this taverna stand out is the beautiful sunset views (shame about the electricity cables)

We returned after 2016. The food is still one of the best we tried. The portions were great and the service exceeded our expectations, especially the Waiter which is polite and with tons of houmor. We tried the sea food pasta and it is the best we ever had. Flavor is the absolute must see when you visit Corfu
