Picked up "Da Kine" bowl off a suggestion from a friend. Food was the star here, little else. Restaurant was empty except for overly pushy and impatient employee. My presence must have stopped some snapchat time, don't know. Off putting that employee assumes that I need to be questioned about my food choices. I get it, it's Lexington, South Carolina but I seriously doubt the food confused crowd is walking in for poke. Decor is interesting with great wooden tables, but mixed with loud paint and lazy trash receptacles. Restroom was filthy.

Eat with friends for dinner. Décor is simple with friendly service. The crab cakes were good with out a lot of filler. The broiled flounder filet was very thin and not very tasty. Baked potatoes were cooked well. The slaw was very good. The highlight was our server who was very attentive and had a superb personality. Hope this helps.

Had Oak Grove on my list for some time. Almost didn't go because of reviews. We had shrimp, oysters and catfish. All were very good. Baby catfish excellent, only in Lexington. Only negative, hush puppies were yucky. Portions good, not huge, but enough, price fair. No, it's not Blue Marlin, but not $50 a meal either.
