Things to do in Laredo
I visited this restaurant at 5517 McPherson Road, Suite#8 on the evening of Tuesday, May 17, 2016. I had the Tuna Nigiri style sushi and the Mojarra al ajilio. Both were very delicious. The tuna Nigiri came out first with a sauce to place over it. It was a wonderful taste that I really enjoyed. The Mojarra al ajilio every morsel was popping with flavor as the whole fish was well seasoned throughout. The garlic and sauce with roasted thai peppers (al ajilio) complemented the fish even more. It was wonderful. Loved the ambiance in the restaurant with background music. The staff that served me was very professional and enhanced the ambiance an culinary experience all together to make it a fantastic meal. Afterward I was given a finger bowl with lime for minimizing the seafood smell on my my fingers and mouth. I was given a 5 star service without having to pay a 5 star price. I was very pleased with everything. Can't wait to visit again!
The restaurant is LA ROCA not La Rocha. I have been going there for a long time and I enjoy the food and the service. Good parking spaces, good music, and good bar drinks. It's a good place to have meetings and to host get-together's and birthdays. A friend of mine and myself go there every Sunday because the lunch crowd is not noisy and we enjoy 1-2 hours of good family talking and eating.
Our menu is inspired by the delicious and full flavored Mexican cuisine. It is our passion and priority to bring our guests an authentic kitchen based on classic Mexican recipes with a modern twist. Our objective is to create an atmosphere where our guest
All meals are prepared fresh, no microwave in the kitchen. Family owned and operated. Professional wait staff provides excellent service. We had other waiters and staff, not just our waiter, checking on us and refilling drinks. Food prices are very reasonable. Menus available in Spanish and English. They were very accommodating about special requests such as spices and sides. I've been back three times and everyone in our groups were very satisfied.
Terrible service! Came here for an early dinner and even though the restaurant was not full, food took forever! They brought out one plate, 5 minutes later another plate, and 5 minutes later the last plate. 15 minutes waiting so everyone could get their food and we could eat. I don't think it's polite to eat and have my dinner guests waiting for their food! Take my advice, go somewhere else!

Have eaten at el pescador for over 10 years. They serve the best seafood in town for a reasonable price. The have a good atmosphere and waiters. Would highly recommend if you are craving seafood or mexican food.
The restaurant is very small, but the service and quality of the food is good for the Price. We like to stop by for lunch and the combos are alway perfect in Price. The only bad thing is the bathroom, they are not always clean.

What a nice discovery for hungry people! This place feeds you well. The menu is geared towards seafood, but there's so much more including Italian dishes and Mexican. We tried the modestly priced lunch seafood fare and were completely impressed. The wine list in too small and needs an effort made. Come on guys! Seafood needs vino! You won't be disappointed by the food though and the service was impeccable. Lunch and dinner served.
