This restaurant is located in an old church so the atmosphere is very charming. Our lasagna, salad, and mini garlic rolls were delicious. The lasagna was some of the best we’ve had in Ireland. The service was good and we would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Lovely restaurant offering tremendous value. Surf and Turf was very tasty, and an old favourite - baked Alaska was enjoyed by all. Vegetarian in our party was very impressed with her meal. Would recommend.

Really looked forward to this visit but I am a little underwhelmed .Maybe we visited in the quiet season but the choice of starters was very limited.Having said that the pizza I had was one of the best I have ever tasted and I know my fellow diners enjoyed their food as well.I am confused when I read the other reviews , as we saw no sign of seafood options>.Laura was a delightful host and the service was excellant. We will have to go back again but maybe in a defferant season.

Drove miles to get here and we were really disappointed. First we were told they were fully booked and we asked could we sit at the bar. We then got a table in the “function room” part of the pub, which was half empty for our whole meal. So, they were not actually fully booked. Both got steak sambo. I got mine medium and my partner got well done. They were both cooked the same in the end.... both fatty and rubbery. The vine cherry tomatoes were just regular cherry tomatoes, and there was no dressing. I hate when a simple dish like a steak sandwich isn’t done well, it’s so easy to get it right!Giving 1 star for the avocado mayo and the fries.

Had this place recommended to us by our hotel and it did not disappoint. A traditional pub that used to be a store, lots of things to look at! Comfortable seating (even though we were a large party of seven). Friendly service and wonderful food. The burger is over the top good!. Reasonably priced too!!

Sadly on a Thursday in August, couldn't dine here as no reservation. After seeing the crowds coming and going, ill know for next timeThank you for your comment, sorry we couldn't make space for you , it does get rather busy at peak times ,especially in August our busiest month. We do try our best to facilitate non reservations but depending on the time you called in sometimes it is just not possible. Not only for seating arrangements but also for the capabilities of our kitchen team, to cook food we are proud of for every guest. We hope to see you another time . Kind regards Eithna

This restaurant is well worth a visit, it’s extensive menu caters for all. I opted for the Salt & Chilli Squid, although slightly greasy, and Chilli was lacking, it was still a very well presented and tasty dish. For mains I opted for the Surf & Turf Burger, the meat in the Burger was delicious, again the slight letdown down was the greasy calamari, but the major fault with this meal was the chips, more than likely a poor quality frozen chip, Chefs don’t seem to care about the chips, which can bring their otherwise **** meal, down to just ok, a good wine list although a little pricey, but still well worth a visit if you are in the area.
