Visiting here for lunch we were satisfied with the kind service we had from the staff, the food was average - not very tasty but "OK "compared to price, and better than the average level at more Læsoe restaurants. Many restaurants were closed for the season and Havnebakken was relatively well booked. They made a great espresso. The real stuff! Great location at a hill in front of the harbour.
Thuro kro summer cafe and restaurant cold drinks on the terrace and summer menu including seafood and fish

The name "Havne Cafe" really does not do justice. The food here is much more than that. We had a most delicious three course meal. Nothing was left to change. The table next to us had the "secret" dish. Calla a day in advance and order the seafood platter and you will be served all good from Læsø. I wish we had known that ahead of time!
A mix of the local fishshop and street food. Only two things on the menu, fishcakes or filet. And man, are the fishcakes good! Perfectly done, crispy and moisture, delicious tasting. Forget the paper plate, plastic knife an fork, grab the fishcakes and eat. This place is an hidden treashure.
