Well there you on the quay at La Ciotat looking at all the boats, so what else would you think of eating except fish. It was a bot worrying that we appeared to be their only customers of the evening but we could not fault any of the dishes. Nothing very fancy but when the basic ingredients are good you don't need to add mush more than careful cooking and this is what was delivered. We had Whelks with aioli, Deep Fried Camambert salad with serano ham for starters and main course of marmite de poisson, and bream with potato and leek. We were happily content at the end.

We chose this restaurant because it has a good view very close to the sea side. We ordered mussels and Dorade fish. They are both good. Prices are not so expensive compared to others given that you have a fantastic view in front of you while enjoying good food, wine and summer breeze. Service is also good. Desserts are so-so, not sure I enjoyed them, they put some ready made candies on top of the ice cream which somehow ruined the taste and presentation. However, I can recommend to go back to this restaurant and eat dessert somewhere else.Hello Zleepy ! Deux jours à La Ciotat en amoureux, 2 jours où avons commandé un plateau de fruit de mer !!! Les produits sont dâune fraîcheur irréprochable, le choix des produits est varié. Les responsables sont de très bons conseil et nous propose de goûter des crustacés que nous ne connaissions pas . Enfin des commerçants qui connaissent leur métier !!!! Un geste commercial très apprécié puisque ces derniers nous on même offert une bouteille de vin blanc lors de notre deuxième commande alors que nous sommes des gens de passage et non des locaux. Très surpris de ce geste commercial qui nous a fait un immense plaisir . Nous conseillons vivement cet établissement pour lâaccueil, les produits de qualité. Bravo pour votre sens du commerce et votre amabilité.

Green salad to start, Sea bass baked in the oven with rice and ratatouille, home made tiramisu aux framboises, pale pink Fontcreuse rose. All perfectly executed - the Sea Bass was particularly good. The overall impression was of a team willing to go the extra mile: warm bread, chilled water brought automatically, home made limoncello, attentive service. Will be coming here again.

This is a small, but busy, restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of the beach in La Ciotat. The food has a fish/seafood focus, but they also do pizzas (reasonably priced). The service is good, but the food is not brilliant - but not that bad either. The desserts are all very good. However, facing the sea, with large bay windows, it offers great views of the coast.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews we selected Ferme Auberge for our lunch today. Reservations are strongly recommended because itâs very popular! The five of us had a selections of items- ranging from their fish soup to salads to duck to lamb. All were delicious and served at the appropriate temperatures. The view of La Ciotat is spectacular and the horse stables below the restaurant add to the country ambience. Thereâs a good selection on the menu for all tastes, and the beer/wine list is quite good. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of the meals. Outdoor tables are available on non windy days. Well worth a visit! Plus itâs away from the hectic tourist locations. We will definitely return.

We were lucky to secure a table on a busy Monday holiday, most tables were reserved. The restaurant seems to specialise in mussels which looked fabulous. We opted for fish, which was lovely, beautifully prepared moist to eat and not too many bones. Good service

a small but quaint restaurant with an excellent sea view. serves excellent fresh shellfish, there is a wide choice of different oysters..the king prawns were lovely and the grilled mussels divine..friendly owner..relaxed and laid back atmosphere..will go back..promise ;)
