Located just north of Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of the African mainland, it is the southernmost settlement in Africa. It is situated next to the town of Struisbaai and about 30 kilometres (20 mi) south of the regional centre of Bredasdorp. Sat on terrace with wnderful seaview. Staff quite friendly en efficient, but don't know why my order was not exactly what I ordered. Asked for rice with my fish, got chips instead, and the menu stated with pesto sauce, but I got some mayonnaise concotion. Maybe they thought I did not know what pesto looks like? As a matter of fact, I love pesto and was quite disappointed.

Burgers,cuisine, Sea Food, Fast Foods.
Early supper at Pelican Harbour restaurant. Lovely setting, cosy inside. Food was good. We had calamari, mussels and squid heads for starters. Good sized portions and the mini pan for mains was reasonably good size too...grilled line fish was a good choice too. Definitely worth a stop.

Seafood restaurant on the beach with your feet in the sand.
Lovely place by the sea, in close vicinity to the beach and waves, which makes a lovely backdrop to a fresh seafood lunch. If you enjoy the laid-back scene and want to kick your shoes off, put your feet in the sand, while enjoying some seafood or even ribs then this is the place for you. Upon entry, you choose your table, then proceed with your table number (on the table) to the ordering booth, to order your meal, which will then be delivered to your table (make sure to keep your invoice/till slip as proof of payment for your meal). You can buy cool drinks with your meal. Or alternatively buy some alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages at the bar area. They have credit/debit card facilities. Then you sit back and enjoy the relaxed scenery, waves rolling in from the beach and if visiting over a weekend you may catch some of the local music entertainment.Friendly staff making sure your empty dishes are removed and table clean. Good experience, good food and prime location at the beach.

Cosy family restaurant with separate old style pub with interesting history. Menu offers something for everyone, good music from the 60,70,80's.
The southernmost restaurant in Africa offers the visitor an interesting menu, including a daily specialty. I ordered fresh fish (cob, as per checked, fish whose habitat is South Africa), that really had a good quality. The lounge is beautiful decorated and the staff is nice. In general, it is a great option after visiting the southern point of Africa.
