Pan & David Restaurant

Fresh seafood, charbroiled steaks, authentic Italian and real country-style Thai food, with 100% home-made ice cream and other desserts. Relaxed atmosphere, with garden seating, too. Going into our 14th year and still delighted to meet every new guest. If

This restaurant is popular on Koh Sichang, and the food deserves the credit. The menu was extensive, with plenty of tasty Thai dishes, along with some American/Italian dishes included. I asked to see their wine list ("Ask to see our wine list!" their menu says), and I was taken to a large fridge, and told to browse the selection. All the red wines were super cold, so that was a turnoff. I like red wine chilled a little, but not that cold!If you're visiting the island, you should definitely include this restaurant on your list of places to try. You won't be disappointed with the food. Bring bug spray.

Our hotel De' Anchor recomended this place for dinner and/or lunch. It's an authentic Thai restaurant with plastic chairs, electric fans and situated right next to the street. The crabs, shellfish and shrip are kept alive in big vats of water right next to the cooking area and the fish is kept in cold containers next to it. This is how you know the sea food is fresh. The staff is happy to let you check it out and take pictures if you ask. It makes for a cool gimmick, in my eyes, but the intent is most likely prectical for them. As for the food, this is the best sea food I have ever had. So fresh, tasty and full of flavour. Over a course of three days, I think we have tried the best this place has to offer. Fried seabass, tempura shrimp, tempura vegetables, salads, fried shrimp, fried mackrell and boiled crab. All absolutely delicious! And of course, very affordable prices. We truly recomend this place for any traveler in the area. If you are in Bangkok or Pattaya and have a day to spend, go to Koh Sichang. Take the ferry for 50 baht from Siracha and go to Pa Noey and eat. You will not regret it.

Ka La Sea Bar and Restaurant A beautiful sea view restaurant. Directions: Location is on De Anchor Resort property. Go south on the main road from the ferry pierLook for a white circular sign that reads, “Benjaporn.” Turn into the road. At the End of the road is De Ancor Resort. Enter the resort and you will reach Ka La SeaUpon arrival(9:10 pm) we were greeted with smiles by their English/Thai speaking staff. Last call for food was at 9:30pm. Not once were we rushed. The decor was hip and modern. Open air dining with plenty of natural breeze and fans to cool you down. The food was the “Best” I had on the island. It was fresh and well prepared. Grilled Shrimp: seasoned and grilled to perfection. Mince meat tofu soup: Not spicy. Simple and clean tasting. Soft shell crab fried rice: The 2 x large SS crabs and fried rice was a great combination. Basil chicken with fried egg over rice: well balance and not too spicy. Fried Snapper with mango sauce: Tender, tasty and delicious. Desserts were yummy: Salted Caramel Ice Cream & Orange cake The chefs culinary skills were on point. Each dish had a different, but wonderfulunique taste. Not one item tasted the same. It’s was one of the most memorable meals I had in Thailand. Can’t wait to try again. No mosquito’s nor fly’s disturbing our mealIf this review was helpful, please voteHappy Travels

Mum Aroi

I was so impressed when I first arrived at Mum Aroi Restaurant. What an impressive view especially at sunset. It is literally breathtaking and in such a festive atmosphere with large groups of people celebrating either the weekend or a birthday, etc. Then the food came which started with an impressive fried seafood fried rice. It was absolutely delicious. Then other courses arrived and it went down hill from there. Perhaps most disappointing was the deep fried calamari which tasted strange and was very good. The rest of the food was ok but rather typical generic Thai seafood. In the end, I felt a TA 3 rating was most fair. However, this is a great venue if you have a large group of people for dinner.
