We visited Mahesh Masoli dhaba 2 weeks ago. We were there for a Sunday group lunch. The host was extremely warm and friendly. In starters we tried Prawns, Surmai(Seer fish), Bombay duck and chicken, all the dishes were fantastic. All the preparations were from coastal Maharashtra(Konkan).The local fish called Jitada(Asian Sea Bass) need a special mention. You rarely get to eat this in a restaurant. It was a super awesome fishy delight!In lunch, we tried Crab Masala, Prawns masala,Bhakari(Roti made of rice) and steamed rice. Every menu was delicious and tasted like a home food.What I liked the most is, the restaurant uses home made spices(masale) for different fishes,depending upon the type of fish. So you never feel like you are eating in a restaurant. It was a mouth watering meal along with sol Kadhi(made up of Kokum and coconut milk).The veg food items were also worth trying.A must visit restaurant with good service and its location is also easily approachable! Rates are reasonable looking at the freshness and quality of seafood.So why are you waiting?Go! get fishy.

We visited this place for dinner on 29th April.1)The place is good for fish preparations.We ate Kolambi (Shrip) curry and Bombil fry. and ate with tandoori roti and boiled rice.2)Kolambi (Shrimp) was well prepared. Bombil fry was okay. It was deep fried. Tanduri roties were good.3)Place is on the main road and had a lots of space to park cars on the opposite site.4)The manager/owner? visited our table and enquired informed what they could serve. Almost all types of fish items were available.

Awesome delicious food. Great hospitality, cleanliness and prompt service. Very homely atmosphere. We were on our way back from Mumbai to Kolhapur and decided to have lunch in Lonavla. We saw this board on road - "Samudra Manthan" and decided to check out.Its a small homely place with people extending a warm welcome. The food esp. the seafood was very fresh and delicious.We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and headed back to Kolhapur.

Very bad taste. Highly priced. Found Plastic nail in dal khichadi. No hygiene. No cleanliness. Nothing have taste. We ordered bhakari masala bangan and dal khichadi everything is not tasty.
