My wife's family frequents this place and we ordered fish. I got the captain's platter for 20 dollars. What I got was about 5 dollars worth of food. The platter should be pretty big and I had 2 small pieces of shrimp, 2 scallops, 1 small piece of perch and 1 small piece of haddock! Not very happy and this is the smallest platter I have ever gotten. For $20 I got ripped off and will never be going back here again. If you are hungry, don't go here.

Let me first start with the pro's: The drinks were well poured, the service was very good, and the food portions were more than generous. When my plate of perch came I was pleasantly surprised by the portion. It was 3 good sized butterflies for a single order. However, upon eating the fish, I found the predominant flavor to be grease. I ended up picking most of the breading off the perch, which was a LOT, and my fingers were very shiny after doing this, despite it not being a thick batter style breading. Also, on one piece of perch I ended up picking 13 fish scales out of my mouth. GROSS! The fries appeared to have been fried more than once and very greasy. Later on that night when I would burp, all I tasted was grease. My wife's prime rib was a good size portion and she said it was very tender but quite bland, including the Au Jus. I really wanted to like this restaurant because of the location and the portions, but it's not a place I would ever want to come back to.
We had no idea what to expect and we were not disappointed! The flavor is unlike anything Iâve ever experienced. The decor inside and service is great as well! We had the seafood boil with lemongrass seasoning, mild heat, lobster, head on shrimp, king crab legs, corn, potatoes, and quail eggs. We will definitely be back.

We had marvelous prime rib recently, but my first choice would have been crab cakes. I have learned to ask if restaurants are really serving crab, or the seafood sticks commonly used to imitate crab. Our kind and honest server assured me it was really high quality imitation crab. I declined and this highlights one of my pet peeves used by many restaurants using the word crab falsely. Instead admit to the imitation or use Krab instead on the printed menu. I always feel like a snob asking, but the clientele should know what they are getting. I will surely go back as I love the place, will stick to items that canât be faked.
