Excellent very fresh Japanese food by the seaside. Traditionally cooked. Beautiful surroundings near Hebara beach (popular for surfers).
格好いい若大将が握っていただける、美味しいお鮨はもちろん、おつまみも充実しています。金目の煮つけ、そして初めて食べる、アワビのツッツキ、アワビをサイコロ上の大きさにして、みそを和え焼きます。初めて食べましたが感動です。地酒、腰古井勝浦を楽しめました。お値段はそれなりです。
30名以上入る座敷席があるので、会社の宴会にちょうど良いです。お酒の品ぞろえも幅広く、値段もリーズナブルです。ランチタイムは海鮮天ぷら定食や煮魚定食が人気で、新鮮な魚介類がとても美味しいです。味付けや盛り付けも上品です。
勝浦から大多喜方面に向かう大多喜街道沿いにある、魚屋さんが営む魚介料理の食堂です。お刺身の定食はまぐろとカツオがボリュームたっぷりで、しかもリーズナブルでした。昭和の食堂の雰囲気の中でおいしくいただきました。
勝浦で定番だと刺身でしょうが、地元の人は新鮮ほど美味しいと決めてかかってるので白身魚は特に硬く感じます。しかし加熱してる場合は別。白身魚のフライは他で食べるものと全く違います。その日の水揚げによるのでしょうが、タイのフライなども出てきます。最近は水揚げが少ないらしいですが、アジがある日ならアジフライもおすすめ。都会で食べる三角のアジフライとは全く別物です。それとご飯が美味しい。いすみ米という地元の米だそうです。
鴨川までの道沿いに、大きな看板が出ていたので、寄ってみました。新鮮な魚介類がどのメニューも大盛で驚きました。若い人は食べきれるでしょうが私たちは、途中で苦しくなってしまいました。ほどほどに食べた方、満足感があったかも・・・

Simply fresh, simply delicious. It is hard to pick just one to order so it is better to go there as a group so that you can share various plates. Must order is the "donburi" with sparkling fish over rice. It is such a gem!

This Japanese restaurant is located along the coast a short distance from the town of Katsuura. Because there was a parking lot, people came by car. They served local dishes using seafood. The specialties were stewed alfonsino and Sashimi of moonfish. I felt its pricey, but tasty.

Katsuura is along the sea side. So it is popular for fresh sea food. We went to Nakamura for lunch. At 30 USD per set meal lunch. I felt it was a bit on the expensive side. They serve good and fresh quality food. But the owner is quite stubborn (not rude). Which is common amongst Japanese restaurant that have been established for quite some time. His stubbornness in terms of the way he wants to present the food, it has to be his way. It made me feel that it was not worth a second trip back to this place. I am not saying this place serves bad food. But I would have preferred a smile or customer oriented experience.
