Reviews on Seafood food in Kalkan, Antalya Province, Turkey. Kalkan, like its neighbor Kas, is a lovely Turkish beach town. While most travelers spend their time enjoying the sun and sea, history buffs will appreciate Kalkan’s proximity to several ancient Lycian cities. If you’ll be in town for more than a day, consider renting a villa—you’ll love the chance to live like a local in such a beautiful spot.

This restaurant is situated on the upper street just after Moonlight Bar but it doesn't have tables on the street as others do so you could miss it, it's a different restaurant that has the tables by their door! Their seating is upstairs with views over Kalkan and the harbour instead. The food is good and we all I enjoyed our meals. Do try it, it is easy to miss it amongst the busyness of this road now.

First place we tried here in Kalkan. Menu is traditional with a fair seafood section. We had the mixed cold meze starter for 60tl. 10 small selections of dips, beans and vegetables. Easily enough for 2 people - would recommend. For mains I had blue fish kebab - 80tl for 2 kebabs skewers. Second main was swordfish casserole which was very nice but was so hot (temperature) 75tl. A bottle house white was 100tl. The food was decent and the setting was very nice, however the menu prices have doubled. The menu has stickers over previous prices - fair to say prices have almost doubled. This is my first time in kalakn so I can't say when they changed. Hi darrena 173Thank you for your comment it was a pleasure. Just a small note, About the prices , everyone knows how big and full our plates are at isosKitchen. And how reasonable priced. 2019 prices are standard.Stickers on the prices doesn't mean we overcharge guest. It means over the years the prices gone up of course we have to change nobody gets nothing for free .Wish to have a conversation with you about Turkey and economic. Our new menu for 2019 cudnt delivery soon , hope 2020 will be ready.RegardsTulay

Without question one of my favourite places to eat in Kalkan, the restaurant is situated on a beautiful street lined with other restaurants. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. The chilli and tomato salsa served with the bread is outstanding and if itâs in the menu I can highly recommend the sea-bass and garlic prawns.

Our concept is simple: âback to basics; Turkish styleâ⦠Traditional, fresh, special, Turkish, delicious, hot or cold and spicy are all adjectives that describe our Mezes. In addition our sea food, fabulous fish dishes and the freshest of salads are ready
Blue Marlin is quite unusual for Kalkan... no hustler trying to drag you in, open all year round for locals and Turks in the know eating there. Best to book, if you want to eat at a fixed time. And nothing flash, just good, friendly honest service. We like quality rather than quantity, so my wife had a selection of meze that she picked from the kitchen's offering. As I was planning to steal some of hers, I only needed a simple grilled Grouper, perhaps with just a few chips, followed by some really delicious homemade baklava. A perfect meal, with beer, a glass of red house and a Turkish coffee. £20 a head, good valueWe spent a week eating out in Kalkan, trying to find the best we could each evening, Marlin was in our top two restaurants.....

Situated on the beautiful harbour front overlooking Kalkanâs pretty pebble beach & fishing boats, Seaport Restaurant & Café Bar offers a wide variety of beautifully prepared Turkish, International and Vegetarian cuisine, served in a comfortable and relaxi
We arrived quite late and the owner took me to the fish counter and offered me a fish at a reduced price (love a bit of bartering). It was, quite simply, superb. Beautifully cooked, gorgeous butter to drizzle over it, rest of our food was fresh and cooked to perfection . Seaport is one of our favourites in Kalkan and we will see you soon as we fly out later! This is the only restaurant we continue to return to. Thank you, as always x

Ramis welcomes old and new guests to his Kalkan new rooftop restaurant. Offering a range of succulent meals using local produce especially prepared for you.
Booked dinner at 19:30 and there were already two diners when we arrived. We were welcomed and seated by the older of the two brothers that operate this restaurant and allocated a table providing the best view over the bay. Ordered sparkling water and a glass of wine each, then decided on Moussaka and Sizzling Turkish Meatballs. This was our final night and we had dined at seven different restaurants who all provide an appetiser of garlic bread and dips, but this was the best selection from cabbage in yoghurt, sweet peppers in tomatoes, dill in yoghurt and a tomato, onion, olive and aubergine dip. My Sizzling Meatballs are served on a warming flame and the moussaka in an earthenware dish placed in the centre of our table for us to share, just like being in a family home and they were absolutely delicious. We nearly managed to finish them! The House Rose and White wine were good and the service friend6without being intrusive. This is a quieter dining experience than most other restaurants and so relaxing. Totally recommended Smyrna Ramis and at 210 lira for the lot, very good value.

We visited the sunset for the first time in a couple of years and found the quality of food to be excellent again, the only downside was that the service was a little slow and everything was a little expensive in comparison to other restaurants of a similar standard.

After reading some excellent reviews we were look8ng forward to eating here. We wer3 disappointed in the standard of the fish platter which did not live up to its discription as is was quite small and a little over cooked. Quite expensive in comparison to other restaurants.

After protracted emailing we managed to reserve a table during our 10 day first and final visit to Kalkan. The food was good but not great. We had meatballs wrapped in aubergine which my partner liked but said the meatballs would have been uninteresting on their own. I had the seafood casserole - the ingredients were good but it was poorly seasoned and bland tasting. The atmosphere is quirky and the service good. However I canât see why this restaurant merits first place on TA. There are many better restaurants in this tourist town.
