Guys, this is the place you want to take your significant other to. Make reservations. food is outstanding. had the fried green tomatoes and also the scallops on mashed potatoes. the fried tomatoes had a very thin bread Crumb covering n delicious shrimp sauce. the scallops had a light salty n blackened taste. she had the pork chop n spicy sausage n sweet potatoes. I had the catfish ponchatrain. mostly shrimp in sauce covering the catfish. wine is available. I had the vanilla tea to keep warm. lastly, the Italian layer cake to go had a smile in her face. worth the drive. go early.

I would have never stopped or gone into this restaurant if a friend hadn't told me about it. You have to enter the service station and then go through a door to this seafood restaurant. The seafood is delicious and there is a big variety of dishes on the menu. My favorite is the excellent sushi that is prepared by the chinese family that owns and runs the restaurant. There is also a separate sushi menu if you ask for it. The food is delicious and the service is very good. But the exterior would not entice you to come inside. My mother and I have dined here for lunch numerous times.

I have been going here for a long time with my mom, who lives in Walker county. She loves the jumbo fried shrimp. I always enjoy eating here too. The prices are low and the frying is perfect. The place could use some sprucing up, but hey at these prices... You can eat here and get good food at crap, fast food prices. The servers are gems, as well.

They have several specials on the menu. I like their sirloin steak special. Their chicken fingers are also delicious. Great place to eat on a budget!

Captain Ds of course is a chain seafood restaurant serving mostly deep fried seafood at fast food prices. This Captain Ds is better than other Captain Ds locations I've visited. The food and the service is usually very good. I'd have given this location a better score a few years back but Captain Ds has cut portion sizes and raised prices. That's not the fault of this location but it does sway my opinion.
