Fresh Continental Cuisine with a Tropical Flair best describes Ocean 60. Creating two Establishments in One, you can dine in the Main Dining Room for a more intimate evening or the Martini Lounge for a more casual experience. Local artist, Enrique Mora
First good part-good food-good to average service (too long to get attention) Good value. Interesting menu. Good happy hour selection.BAD. Horrible noise level. We are use to relatively high noise in this area but this was the worst. 6:30 on Sat night. But by far the worst thing was PARKING. We will not come back, at least on weekend. We had 6:30 reservation. Drop off spouses and we arrived back at the restaurant at 7:00. After 45 minutes, we found a place 6 blocks away. NO VALET-Problem is not unique to this restaurant (valet would solve problem)

I made the decision to have a sirloin steak. This was a mistake. It came very under done and was almost impossible to cut because it was so tough. I sent it back and received a steak which atleast was edible, but the potatoes au gratin was disappointing. My advice is keep to the fish dishes and the bang bang shrimp.

Marker 32 in our past experience proved it can deliver an excellent experience, but our last 2 visits fell short of expectation. We ate here most recently for a family gathering (7 adults in all). Our table was not the best to begin with (with little to no view), but I expected the food to make up for that. Our starters were the artisan cheese plate, which proved to be far less a creative effort than my previous experiences at Marker 32, with a rather disappointing cheese selection. Our other starter (fried green tomatoes) was up to par. My entree was tuna, disappointing since on a scale of 1 to 10 I would only give it a 7, which is a good bit short of my experience at other local restaurants, and not what I would have expected from a restaurant of this calibre. In fact, no one in our party raved about their entree, another disappointment since 2 of our party were visiting Jacksonville for the first time. Wine and dessert options are good and the desserts we selected did go over well, where mine was an excellent 20 year port wine. Based on having 2 mis-hits in a row, I'm afraid we'll have to think twice before choosing Marker 32 again vs. other fine dining in the area.

We were pushing it near closing. As we were being seated the host said âthank you for joining us tonightâ. Our waitress was excellent. Super with explaining the different entrees. Great personality. Shrimp quesadilla and Philly cheesesteak. Both were awesome. Mango salsa was delicious! Excellent find. Great job!

I decided to drive out to the Jacksonville Beaches while in town on a business trips. I thought North Beach Fish Camp sounded interesting. My waitress was fantastic. Very friendly with plenty of advice. I decided on fried clams for an appetizer and the fish of the day for the meal. As with most fried food, the fried clams could have been from anywhere. But the fish of the day with vegetables over a Rossetti bed was very good. Use the free valet parking which you will need the hostess at the desk to verify.

You also get 2 hush puppies, baked potato, deviled crab and coleslaw. I can eat half and have the other half the next day. Nice new decor. Roy's has been one of our favorite restaurants. Since it had been a while since our last visit, we returned. Friends had complained to us that in their recent visit they had experienced extremely slow service, even when the restaurant was not busy. We visited on a slow Monday evening and indeed confirmed that the service was especially slow. No one explained or apologized. How long does it take to prepare edamame? That appetizer, previously complimentary, is now $7 and must be requested, since it is off-menu. Our impressions this time: yes, service was slow for no obvious reason; prices have crept up and are clearly high end for no obvious reason; service was friendly, but the delays were not due to the server; food was very tasty, as always. On the other hand, the bartender (sorry, I've forgotten her name) was especially fast, friendly, & competent. So, if you enjoy good food and do not care about higher prices and slower service, Roy's is the place to go.

What a great little neighborhood restaurant! Surprisingly elegant and classy but not pretentious! The food was fantastic! From the Caesar salad to the salmon and mussels everything was well seasoned! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The dining area is small and the tables are close, but it still feels private somehow. I highly recommend!

I learned that Conch Fritters can be tough and pretty tasteless. I was told that they would always be tough...I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and had to tear apart to âpeelâ them before I could eat them.It was declared that perhaps they had used too much bacon for the small sized shrimp so the tail portion left on for handling made it appear that âallâ the shell was left on...The wait staff was attentive and attractive.... but the menu needs some tweaking!Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We take a great deal of pride in our scratch kitchen and daily fresh catch. If there is ever an area of concern, please bring it to the attention of a manager and they will do all they can to elevate your dining experience. It is our policy to remake, replace or remove an item that is not to your liking. We truly appreciate your business and hope to see you again in the near future.

Poppy's was a great surprise! Thought we were dining at a pizzeria with some dinner entrees. Little did we know the menu was very extensive and the specials were top notch. Great calamari appetizer, garlic bread, and an excellent grouper and shrimp over risotto. Mains were very large portions, as chicken and eggplant parm entree could have fed 3 people. Warm friendly service and a good variety on the wine list. Poppy's was a highlight of our trip.
