What a great setting. The all inclusive part of our stay at the Krystal Hotel included two visits to Bogarts. Sadly however, the food here is just average. I had seafood linguine and it was really just spaghetti with some bits of fish and not a very tasty tomatoe sauce. I appreciate great food and honestly I could make this at home way better. The sauce was very boring with almost no taste. The serving staff were very nice. We had a trainee and language was a challenge since I don't speak Spanish. The service was still very nice. I loved the red house wine here not sure what it was but it was great. I ordered cheese cake dessert and being from Canada I have very different understanding of what Cheese cake is so I did not enjoy it at all. Others ordered the Sorbet and really that is the way to go. So for the amazing setting in which it is located I would have expected really great food but this was rather disappointing. We did not choose to go back for a second visit as it was just not worth it. We opted to go out to Zihuatanejo for dinner instead.

The best charcoal grilled tacos and sea food ,,frozen beers, come and enjoy your favorite sport at our 5 tvs and jumbo screen
We went to Sr. Taco Grill two separate nights to watch college basketball. The staff was very accommodating and got the game on a few of their TV's. The staff even cheered for our team!

Friends had suggested we try El Galeon in the Marina for an unusually visually interesting restaurant as it is partially on a ship. Well the ship is no longer accessible, apparently under repair. Beer was warm and the spinach salad had way too much dressing. The seafood cocktails were good though.

we had the best shrimp here. we tried the stuffed shrimp, coconut shrimp and mango shrimp all excellent. the service was great and the staff is really friendly. would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. wished we would have discovered this place earlier in our vacation so we could have tried more menu items!!!

This place is the second restaurant on the beach as soon as you get off the boats, like all the restaurants on the island you can have a seat in the restaurant or on the beach. We ordered the seafood platter for two and it was incredible, one of the best meals we had on our trip. The service was friendly but not entirely prompt. Had to wave down the server a few times and order beers from another server a bunch. We weren't in a rush and soaking the experience in. The restaurant wasn't very busy except for a very large group of 30 or so people which they brought a great vibe to the place. Will definately check the place out again when we come back.

Great food, great value, superb service. We enjoyed every aspect of the meal. It was a mid day lunch and the restaurant was quiet. The servers were attentive and engaging. Chatting with them about their town and answering their questions about our home were the highlights of the visit.

Located at the highest hill of PacÃfica Resort Ixtapa, you will enjoy delicious international cuisine in El Faro restaurant, with an amazing ambience thanks to the seaside view and the soulful music.
Had a lovely meal made by lovely people at El Faro tonight. Tomas and Marco made the evening extra-special with table-side ceasar salad and banana flambé. This is fancier food than we usually want to eat at the beach, but the view cannot be best at sunset. We enjoyed lobster and the bananas flambé that were not part of the all inclusive, but only cost $350 pesos more. Nice change of pace!

Four guests give it a score of 4.7.Three of us were very happy with everything. My husband's eggs were a little too runny but everything else was excellent!I loved the French toast and maple syrup with pecans. My sister and her husband had Eggs Benedict and were delighted!

Deborah is apparently Canadian but has lived and worked in Ixtapa for many years. For $79 plus tip, the most expensive offering, I had fruit (water melon, melon, papaya), a hotcake (large Scotch pancake with maple syrup), huelvos ranchos (two fried eggs on tortillas in tomato sauce), two slices of slightly burnt toast and a refilled cup of coffee. There were four paquetas on offer, but the two chepest options underlined that it was only una cup of coffee; only the $79 one had the hotcake. This was amazing value â and prices for breakfast varied significantly at the different restaurants.

Went with the reviews and ordered the four types of shrimp. The right call, nice fresh shrimp cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and professional, spot on. Nice table in the outside, looking at the pool would have been perfect except there was an exercise class above the restaurant with booming music duelling with a crooner in the courtyard. This ruined what would be a perfect experience. Bit hard to find and out of the way but worth it.
