It's actually very difficult to start because I'm feeling so good after a few beers and fries. You'll see it is a good place once you see it. Because there are the friendliest people, about a thousand drinks to choose from, decent food and even a fake fireplace running 24/7.. books painted on a wall.. what else do you want??

This restaurant was inside the hotel we were staying in Irkutsk (Sayen Hotel) and though we had other plans for dinner, when I saw the flyer of kamchatkan king crab in the room, we changed our minds and had dinner there. In fact, they did not have the crab in their stocks that day but as we informed them early enough, they provided it by the time we had dinner. We really liked this place. Its decoration is obviously very Japanese influenced, the staff is very helpfull and professional, the overall ambiance is very chic. We had the crab of course (almost 2 kg), some sushi and a scallop dish. All were very very delicious, though the crab got really cold by the time we could finish it. This is an expensive restaurant but it worths the experience.Thanks for your feedback! We are glad that you appreciated our restaurant. We will be glad to see you again!

In a non-English speaking country, the service here was the best. Although their price is quite expensive comparing with other local restaurants in Irkutsk, the portions are very big. We had to box our deserts as the salad, soup and main courses had taken us full. The ingredients are fresh, no matter it's sea food or vegs. And all carefully prepared and served. Good place if you are looking for a big meal.

said to be the best restaurant in town - i was not impressed. they wanna be michelin star type of institution but they are far from that. starting with the service and the waiters that were just terrible -- nose in the air type .. not caring one bit about what the customers wants..replying with an attitude when facing complain...I guess the problem is that every dish is super expensive and not really worth it ... they are used to the Rich&Beautiful (R&B) crowd that dont necessarily have the culture of european gourmet food and goes there more to be seen then to enjoy the food ... some opulent men were dining with what seemed to be young "models" where chasing burgundy wine with cola and whiskey!!so nothing special really. if your partners invite you then ok, do it, but dont waste your money.

The restaurant is nicely located on Irkutsk's new "strip" and in keeping it is attractively set up and decorated with a good overall feel. The menu is quite extensive and includes some of the local specialities such as dishes with the Baikal white fish. All in all the food was not bad but was definitely not brilliant. Not overly expensive for what you get but by no means cheap.

Don't come here if you're looking for authentic sushi. We were hungry and desperate for halfway decent food after being on the train for three days, but the best I can say about the food here is that it was... not terrible. I guess if you don't have any expectations of what sushi is supposed to be like the food is decent enough. If you come from a place where sushi is common you are not going to be impressed with the food here. The staff were very nice though.
