This is a medium sized Japanese food restaurant attached to a large souvenir shop near the Fuchu district, or the northern end of Amanohashidate itself. You must choose your meal by looking at the wax samples at the entrance of the restaurant (within the souvenir shop). After making a selection, you must purchase a meal ticket before being seated. All foods are reasonably priced and the one I chose (Hamachi donburi, or Yellow Tail sashimi over bowl of rice) was good-eating.The view of its seaside garden and Amanohashidate behind were marvelous.Parking outside the centre was spacious and very easy.
This restaurant is located on Highway 178 at the foot of Mt. Nariai (Nariai-san) and Kasamatsu Park near the lower station of the cable car. It's also close to the Ichinomiya Terminal of the sightseeing ships for Amanohashidate, and the Moto-Ise Kono Jinja Shrine. The restaurant offers a typical Japanese menu for lunch, plus ramen and then it also offers a range of Cantonese Chinese dishes for dinner. They say the chef is in fact trained in Chinese foods. We had a set menu with more than ample amount of seafoods and tempura for our lunch. Every ingredient was fresh and good-eating. One of us wasn't able to finish all the foods served. If you're driving, there are some spots for parking right in front of the restaurant. If you cannot find a spot there, you're out of luck as anywhere else you have only pay parking around here.

We both found this spot after we were doing the tradition of bending over (forward position) and viewed the long sand bar between our legs. It was located in Kasamatsu Park in the 2nd floor. There was nothing special except it was a good spot to take a picture for couple, during a good weather, with long sand bar in the background. We didn't dine in nor check what the restaurant had offered since we were rushing ourselves to complete such a short trip to Amanohashidate. But again, the weather was not really nice when we arrived in Kasamatsu Park but we glad we did visit this place as it was quite unique.
If you love seafood especially sushi, this is the place to go. Sushi chef had been in this restaurant for a long time and have a wonderful Japanese food for lunch about $30 and at dinner time you can enjoy big oyster, any kind of fish in a different way of cooking and Sushi! we stayed in this area for 2 months and visited this restaurant at least once a week.

Nagisa will be forever in our mind as one of the best experiences while in Japan. Not only it is located in Ine, one of the most magical places I have ever visited, the restaurant also gave us the opportunity to sample authentic Japanese flavors in the company of the best host ever. It is a few minutes walk or bike ride (free bikes available by post office for visitors) from most of the funaya, and Alex, the owner, is so helpful and friendly at giving tips of places to visit while in Ine. The food was nothing short than outstanding and again extremely authentic Japanese cuisine. Beer and Sake were delicious too! Make reservations so that he knows you are going and let him recommend you what to eat. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and went to the extra mile to please us. Thank you Nagisa for two wonderful evenings.Thank you very much for coming.I am very honor of your praising comment to Nagisa.I'll be thankful that we could spend time happily with you, too.Next, I'd like to meet in NY.Alex Takahashi

Visited Ine in mid April, didn't make any reservation for dinner. Upon inquiry with staff at the funaya, Hyoshiro is probably the only place open for business without reservation. The Kaisen-don (rice topped with seafood) was very fresh and delicious.

Nice sashimi and sushi...Just a pity that a few small things would have made the visit close to perfect.... Like chopsticks n stuff should come before sashimi is served... We ordered beer and sake, my daughter should at least be served some water, if not ocha.

This is an old fashioned Japanese restaurant within the Boathouse View Park complex in the town of Ine (yeené). It offers a reasonable range of lunch menu, but their specialty are soy-sauce broth cooked, grilled or sashimi (sliced meat) of fresh fish. They are of course said to be caught in the regional waters by the local fishermen that very day. If you like Japanese fish dish, this is a great place to try some more. Note that except for the sashimi dish, other fish dishes come usually with one whole fish with head, tail and lots of small bones.
