We had some time to spare while waiting for our boat and we asked some locals where to eat and the recommendation was for Koralli restaurant very near the port.We had a village salad, kolokythokeftedes, a traditional cheese pie, souvlaki pork and calamari.Everything was great, the staff were polite and quick and we would eat here again if we stayed more!Try it!

An ideal destination for those who love the charm , combined with the wild beauty of nature of Ikaria island. A special place with a unique view of the deep blue , can all be found above the picturesque harbor of Manganitis , just 1.5 km from the best bea
On our way back from Seychelles beach we stopped in Manganitis to see the little port; we had no intention whatsoever to eat so early in the afternoon until we smelled something nice cooking and quickly changed our mind . The good smell was coming from the cutest cafè I have seen in Ikaria so far. The terrace is boat-style furnished and the music is great (you can tell thereâs a lot of attention to details here ). Unfortunately there was no WiFi connection and/or 3G signal and all the songs I tried to Shazam were lost: can someone (the nice owner, maybe, please) tell me the titles of the âGotan projectâ style songs played on Aug 17th, please, please? All the best and continue this way

The view here is second to none, just up some steps from Livadi beach, but more importantly the food is great. Brilliant for vegetarian options and the best Calamari Iâve had! Stuffed squid was a delight and the local beer and wine available is perfect! Very friendly service and open all day for breakfast, a leisurely lunch or an early or late dinner! Highly recommended.

A Greek taverna in the traditional way, you are invited into the kitchen to see what's on offer each day. Although I only ate at Naiades twice I would have wished to have had a longer stay on the island to eat more times here. The food was excellent, in the style of my Cypriot family, and the welcome outstanding. Sunset views are great from the terrace tables.

We went there by recommendations of the locals. They were absolutely right! The place is fantastic! You can see the sea and relax! The fish was SO FRESH that the main bone was not breaking at all! This is the most reliable way to test the freshness of a fish worldwide. I do spearfishing in Greece so I know first hand how to choose the best fish tavern and in Ikaria is MANDOUVALA ...The main bone when you clean half of the fish and you pull the fish tail from the tail TO the fish head should NOT break right away...If it does I mean the main spinal bone breaks into pieces right away forget it the fish is DAYS old. But in our case each time we ate in MANDOUVALA I REALLY had a problem. The fish was so fresh that I could NOT break the main spinal bone it was getting curvy but not breaking...meaning that the fish my kid and the whole family was eating was swimming HOURS before! Thank you Chrisevgeni and Yannis we will definitely come back!

Home made cooking. Happy healthy food right at the beach. Fresh fish, meat on the grill and lots of amazing vegetarian dishes. Makes you want to stay and enjoy forever ... * Unlimited space for parking * Comfort for children * Food with fresh ingredients
What can I say, if not that the restaurant is close to the beach, the fish is fresh and the waitress is kind and gentle? The Greek salad is amazing and the local white wine is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the fruit is for free!

Homemade Greek traditional food cooked always with love made with local fresh ingredients. Since 2005.
Apart from the beautiful terrace and the friendly service we have nothing positive to say about its cuisine. Too much oil; unnecessarily big portions; tasteless dishes. We had an assortment of appetisers none worth mentioning and I had maybe the worst spaghetti with minced meat ever.

Been here while in Armenistis, is one really nice raver with a breathtaking view on the sea. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, staff is really nice (they show u whatâs for dinner directly from pans and baskets in the kitchen. Food is delicious and itâs easy to understand the cooks love their job. Prices are a bit over the average range but this taverna worth a visit.

Therma, the charming seaside village known for its healing natural spring baths is also home to Kritikos, beachside dining that will soothe your palate with a culinary experience not found anywhere else on the Island. Modern Greek fusion at its finest, ju
The location is nice, right on the waterfront. This is where the compliments end, unfortunately. The food was overpriced (approximately 30%-40% more than comparable places), and was the opposite of the wonderful Ikarian food we ate all over the island - pretentious but not tasty. not recommended.Dear Or B,Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our restaurant. We believe that every visitor's opinion is vital to the future success of Kritikos. However, our kitchen is completely different as modern greek fusion compared to all the other restaurants in the area! In addition, it would be very helpful for us to understand what you did not really like, making you more specific about what you chose to eat and did not satisfy you, to have the chance to improve it in the future. If you were directly addressed to the restaurant manager, we would surely have avoided your dissatisfaction, something you did not, leaving us just a big question mark.

The food was good and large servings. We ordered too much but at least got to try a variety of dishes. You also have a good view looking out to the water.
