The Black Pepper restaurant is a new restaurant opened by two locals basing the food on local ingredients and local dishes with a creative and modern twist to it. Followed with a excellent selection of wines specially from the island Hvar and the best win
We booked a table on the street only to be ushered to the back courtyard area which had zero atmosphere despite being full. After some very hard negotiation we managed to get our rightful spot. Bit odd really given there were free tables throughout our dinner. Not a great start and left a bitter taste in the mouth which was thankfully assuaged by some pretty good uncomplicated fresh food cooked well. Croatian cuisine is on the whole pretty poor but this place offers hope. The service good and ambience on the steps excellent. Worth a visit.

Restaurant Albatros is a small family business situated on island Hvar in Stari Grad, small picturesque town next to the main square "Ploca" and 50 meters from the harbour. It is housed in a ancient house built centuries ago. Restaurant Albatros acquires
I have been coming to Croatia now for 10 years and have visited Stari Grad many times. It had not been to Albatros until last night. What a fantastic restaurant. We were greeted by the very friendly owner and his very professional staff. What a superb meal we had with service to match the sea bass was probably the best I have had here in Croatia served beautifully with accompaniments. The starters were also great. Can not fault this restaurant and it really deserves 6 stars. Next time I am in Starigrad I will always be going to Albatros.Thank you for letting us enjoy a really great dining experience.

We drive up the beautiful way to Santa Marija on a Sunder afternoon on the search for some Croatian food and good wine. The place is out of the picture books - local, traditional with amazing natural beauty. The food served by family Stancic was just fantastic - cheese and ham platter, cevepcici from the wood grill, lamp and hand cut fries - really nice house wine - friendly service. Perfect - thank you!

We booked a reservation for this place based on previous reviews. The staff are really warm and the complimentary bruschetta, was most welcome. I ordered seafood risotto, which was crunchy and not al dente as suggested by the restaurant. A disappointment, considering how perfect everything else had been.

Our family has been in the culinary business for many years. We can proudly state that we were among the first restaurant businesses in Hvar in the 70s and during the last century. A rich palate of Mediterranean specialties and a wine chart will thrill ev

Dear guests, please note that we will be closed from 29 September 2019. We look forward to seeing you again next summer! Thank You!
I visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner and we really enjoyed it!PROS: - very cute location with nice exterior decor- far from everything so not very crowded- brought us a free appetizer- wine choice was good- schnitzel was cooked to perfection and so was the shrimp tagliatelle (though Italians may consider it a little over cooked)CONS: - 20 minute walk from the harbour with a bit of up hill - waiter wasnât professional in terms of judging our meal choice (when i chose the schnitzel he said it was a shame to choose that considering I was in Croatia) - worth noting that this an expensive restaurant I recommend this restaurant if you can afford it, enjoy well cooked food, want somewhere quiet/relaxing or romantic, and if you donât mind a little stroll from the main harbour.

Family restaurant located 10 km from the town of Hvar, offers a spectacular view that stretches from Bol on Brac on the north side to Visa, Apples, Paklenski the islands and Italy to the south. The only place on the road from where you can see the sea and
The restaurant is set in a beautiful location on top of a mountain in the center of Hvar with spectacular views in every directions. Our waiter was the best I've have since moving to Europe 2 years ago. He was friendly, attentive, quick, and knowledgable. Obviously a family run place with all the benefits thereof. I highly recommend!

Family run restaurant situated in a beautiful quiet olive yard in Milna, Hvar Croatia. Fantastic scenery, all-natural foods, top-notch service.
This is the most unique restaurant we have visited. The owners are lovely and the food was the best we have had! The freshness of the vegetables and the fish and seafood was superb! Everything about Knoba Lambik makes this a must visit!

This a small restaurant on small street was one of our favorite dining experiences of our two weeks in Slovenia and Croatia. We had their traditional Croatian fish stew which was very good. Even better was the grilled sea bass, which was filleted and deboned table-side. The herbs and seasoning used made the dish fragrant and fragrant. The servers were both professional and fun. Igor, the owner, was very friendly. Because the restaurant is so small, reservations are recommended.

This restaurant is oriented to Mediterranean cuisine and its specialty is fish and grilled meat. Our professional cooks have many years of experience and create menu's based on the seasonal choices we buy from local farmers and fishermen. Hand-made pasta
Great location. Food with a strong seafood base is good. Service okay. Outdoor seating is the go. Inside is pretty ordinary
