Hudson is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States, with a total population of 19,063 as of the 2010 census. Before its incorporation as a town in 1866, Hudson was a neighborhood and unincorporated village of Marlborough, Massachusetts, and was known as Feltonville. From around 1850 until the last shoe factory burned down in 1968, Hudson was known as a "shoe town." At one point, the town had 17 shoe factories, many of them powered by the Assabet River, which runs through town. Because of the many factories in Hudson, immigrants were attracted to the town. Today most people are of either Portuguese or Irish descent, with a smaller percentage of people being of French, Italian, English, or Scots-Irish descent. While some manufacturing remains in Hudson, the town is now primarily residential. Hudson is served by the Hudson Public Schools district.

Every once in a while either we don't have time or just don't want to cook at home, but don't feel like going out either. Star Ocean provides the best option for take-away Chinese food in the area. The food is great and the lady at the counter in the restaurant is always very courteous and helpful.

Great fish very fresh. The cole slaw is delicious only wish they give you more, but you can ask for it. Great food that stays hot for take out. I strongly recommend.

Simple answer, you should try FISH, it is very clean and full of windows. Ample parking and easy to find.The raw bar is EXCELLENT, top notch!I would go back for a beer and raw bar and I would be in heaven.We had the haddock special and i had the fisherman's platterVERY GOOD

Sunday night dinner - we were able to be seated right way.Pros: the chicken Parmesan was as good as advertised. Tender / juicy chicken and the sauce tasted great.Cons: 1: wait staff was arguing a bit about getting the dirty dishes back into the kitchen to be cleaned.2: long wait for our drinks to come.3: food was delivered - with the incorrect pasta on our plates.4: server never stopped back to see how our meal was ( we would have asked for a bit of sauce, as the pasta was a bit dry)We will give them a second try some day....

We come here every year for our August anniversary and have often brought out of town guests here for a lobster dinner. You get lobster, steamers, corn, potato and corn bread. You can get whatever size lobster you want and then add on the other items. The lobsters are always good and cooked just right.We usually don't get other things, but the chowder is good and they have lots of specials to choose from. A big bonus is that they have a large parking lot and so parking is never a problem (and they are right across from Alewife MBTA stop so also convenient for public transportation.Average prices. Always excellent service. Friendly atmosphere.
