We ate here one night and my husband had fish, and I had the Moussaka. The fish was fresh and delicious but my Moussaka was just average. Service was not that great. Maybe it was just a bad night.

Walked in for late lunch, sat downand was offered an English menu (not that comment in local restaurants), ordered some salads and a dish (very similar to pizza) , burgers and beer.Food was excellent, young female waitress was very friendly and helpful, asked for the bill.Came up to pay - but, they do not accept credit cards ?!?!?Offered to pay in US dollars, even in the worst rate exchange they want + some extra if bank will take a fee, but owner refused and said: "your problem, I except only chase euro !"Shocked a bit, asked that we'll drive to the nearest ATM and come back with cash to pay, gave us an unsatisfied grim face and asked us for something valuable to keep until we return with the cash !!! The total bill was for 33â¬........Never will come again, never will recommend this place !!!!

Super simple dishes made to perfection. I tried seafood pasta with a glass of red - it was excellent. Chef looked after me even though I arrived pretty late. The restaurant has a very good feel to it, at least I felt relaxed. I was left to enjoy my meal instead of being disturbed as it often happens in restaurants. I would definitely come back and can recommend to everyone visiting Lisse.

I would never expect an Asian style restaurant on this level in a small town like Bennebroek. we were with quit a big group and choose to have many different dishes. The range varied from traditional Chinese (Peking Duck) to modern Japanese (sushi with a'twist').Some dishes were better then others hence only 4*. The sweat and sour chicken was not as what I hoped for, the sourness and ginger taste was missing a little and it was more vegetable then chicken. Also the Dim Sum was to basic and I don't think it was home made. But I will definitely come back.Great service !

I was extremely happy to come by serendipity to this Italian restaurant.The pizza was great, the owner made the pizza even if the kitchen was closed, and furthermore, full of mozzarella.Everything was perfect and delicious.I highly recommned this restaurant!I hope to come soon!

This is a friendly local Greek restaurant. The food is very good. As starters we had dolmades with a vibrant Avgolemono sauce and some delicate meatballs. We then shared the fish platter - a mass of perfectly cooked fish, calamari and prawns. We had no room for dessert.We chose a Greek white wine which was excellent.

Wij komen al jaren bijna wekelijks bij Pinokkio (meer dan 100 keer). Sinds de verbouwing is het een prachtige zaak geworden die uitstekend geleid wordt. De eigenaar is een zeer vriendelijke man die vaak even een hand komt geven aan tafel. Het personeel in de bediening wisselt regelmatig maar is altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam.Pinokkio is een prima restaurant met goed eten tegen een scherpe prijs. De vele pizzaâs worden vers bereid en zijn overvloedig belegd. De pastaâs zijn uitstekend van smaak en meten ruime portieâs. Ook de vleesgerechten, zoals bijvoorbeeld de spare ribs, zijn geweldig en vallen bijna van het bot af (zoals het hoort)!Ik kan iedereen Pinokkio aanraden. Het is geen haute cuisine maar prima en lekker eten voor een goede prijs in een mooie en gezellig ambiance.

We were in Lisse for the Kuekenhof Tulip Festival and happened across this restaurant. Excellent dinner for a meat-lover (green egg cooked prime steak) and for a gluten-free wife. It's been owned and operated for 32-years and the owner was around the whole evening - creating a personalized and authentic experience. There's wonderful modern art on the walls, one piece celebrating the owner. Our server, Kristen, was very friendly and had suggestions on what to do in Lisse and the surrounding areas the next day. We went back the next night, same staff, same excellent service, great experience. A first class experience. If you're looking for a high quality meal, among a restaurant that is clearly a big hit with the locals and has a authentic atmosphere, this is a great choice.

This Michelin-recommended restaurant along the Ringvaart Canal is in a typical Dutch private house style with low ceilings and a rather uncomplicated décor. The cuisine is French/Dutch with occasional, slightly, Oriental influences.The amuse-bouche including a sip of creamy soup and shrimp cocktail did pleasantly arouse my appetite. The starter with various preparations of mackerel was well above ordinary and fresh. The entremets of quail piccata with green asparagus was equally enjoyable without being stunning. The main dish of salmon and cannelloni filled with spinach was the highlight of the day; simply delicious. The wine (William Fevre Chablis 2012) paired very well with the dishes, enhancing the positive impact. For dessert, the ice cream with raspberries was decorated with white chocolate. Along with a decent cup of espresso it was a worthy closing of this meal.The service was good and less formal than expected. The bill for two persons came to 120 Euro. Perfect? No. But the Oude Dykhuys is a genuinely high quality restaurant that I want to visit more often, disregarding my financial constraints.

The lunch we had was fantastic. My wife, a vegetarian was specially impressed with her salad. I has the flower based tuna dish which was sooo tasty and our guest had the seafood special which had tastes of various fishes. The service was impecable and nice to see proper cutlery and linen. Cannot fault the restaurant.
