Lovely country pub overlooking the village common and pond. One of the oldest public houses in the area, the Red Lion have restored some of the traditional features of the pub giving it a cosy, friendly, and unquie atmosphere.
A small range of 2 or 3 similar style cask ales. Not bad beer but I am reluctant to drink in this pub now as the bar staff do not prioritise cold glasses over the warms ones from the glass washer. Please develop a rotation system that puts the warm glasses to the back of the shelf, or educate the bar staff about the use of warm glasses. Thank you.
