Villa Marea is set on the coast road in Hayama-machi, and is a cosy little pizza cafe. In April, we were staying close by and on a cold wet Monday night decided that a night in with pizza was what we needed. I trudged up the road, through the rain, and found the manager happy to serve take-out. We ordered a large Marguerita, a couple of regular Piccantes and a Bismarck. I picked them up 40 minutes later. The Bismarck came complete with a raw egg to crack and scramble on the top.Actually, it was all pretty delicious. Just as good as the wood fired places in Tokyo. And the price was very reasonable at less than ¥5,000. A strong recommend. Next time we'll eat in!

Almost impossible to get reservations on the weekend for dinners since the hotel guests usually book up this small restaurant since it is located on the 2nd floor of the boutique hotel Hayama Kan. So........hit lunch. Hit it fast and early. Line up if you have to since this is one place where the shio-saba ( Salted Mackerel ) yells ORDER ME. The lunch sets are great value and the servings are on the large size. I usually skimp on the rice otherwise I can't finish the meal. The daily Sashimi teishoku is also highly recommended. Simple surroundings but the quality of the cuisine & cost performance is spectacular.

Came here with my sorority sisters for a going away luncheon. The view of the bay is amazing!!! It was pouring down raining when we went so we couldn't see Fuji. Inspire if that, the food was absolutely amazing!! The best time to go is lunch. Their lunch specials are pretty reasonable. The best one I think is the Blue Crab Pasta.

Freshly made food that specialises in local sourced vegetables and fish. One of the big draws is their "English" fish and chips. Well done, but for me being an Englishman not quite there in my opinion. (There again it is hard to find decent fish and chips in England). Certainly one of the best I have had in Japan. Friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere.

Piscaria is a delightful small restaurant that focuses on local seafood cuisine prepared slowly much like its counterparts in Italy. The food takes a while but it is worth the wait. It is important to reserve a time in the early evening to insure the best selection of seafood. ( Reservations are a must especially on the weekends. )Must order dishes are:Steamed VeggiesStarter Plate Selection ( go for the 6 plates)Whole Steamed Fish SaladsGreat wine selection and delightful staff. Perfect for dates and business dinners. Limited seating so book early to avoid being disappointed.

MARLOWE is located near the Sagami bay. We can see beautiful ocean, sunset, and Mt,Fuji!!! This view is soooo beautiful!!And, their food is good. MARLOWE use natural fish from the Sagami bay, and fresh vegetable from the croft in Miura, Kanagawa. So, their foods are very delicious! I recomenned "seafood salad". This is hearty meal! And, their pudding is VERY famous!!! In fact, this pudding get the NO.1 of the ranking,"popularity of Back-oder" from NIKKEI news paper. There are many kinds of pudding, so you can enjoy tasting a number of times!!
