Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Guadalajara. The inland city of Guadalajara is bursting with history and culture. Many attractions are in the city's historic center and in the neighboring city of Zapopan. Museums, parks and churches flourish alongside bullfights, rodeos and soccer (futbol). Nearby are the towns of Tequila, where the liquor of the same name is produced, and Tlaquepaque and Tonala, where artisans create an abundance of Mexican handicrafts. Mariachi, which originated in the area, is a common sight and sound in Guadalajara.

...........This "Mariscos El Negro" is the real deal, not to be mistaken for other restaurants with the same name. Service and explanations of the ample menu are outstanding. And more importantly the food was very fresh. Well prepared plates for all seafood tastes. The shellfish and shrimp were stellar. Very fair prices for the quality of product. Simply delicious. And the beers very cold. I will always stop by this restaurant when working in Guadalajara.

We were recommended La Docena by Alcalde Chef Paco Ruano and managed to get a table for an early dinner at short notice. The Grilled oysters with clarified butter, shallots and parsley, Oyster Chowder and the Shrimp and Oyster Po Boy were all excellent. La Docena offers good value with friendly and efficient service.

Ven a probar los mariscos más originales y las bebidas más deliciosas de Guadalajara, en un ambiente cómodo y relajado, déjanos chiquiarte y pasar un buen rato.
Sunday afternoon on Calle Liceo 379, Centro, we enjoyed a relaxing meal trying really different tacos: octopus and tripe, seared tuna, and raw tuna on jimaca slice tortillas. Their regular tacos are great but this was an adventure. We shared a lemonade containing spearmint leaves and guanabara. Very fresh.

The food is good, but everyone has to shout to make yourself heard. Avoid this place if you are on a business meeting as I was. I left quite hoarse.I had a variety of dishes with the shrimp in a Chile pepper to tuna on tosta. All was good, and unique to a certain part of Mexico. I didn't care for the raw shrimp. But the noise was terrible and made for an unenjoyable and unproductive evening.Thank you for your comment, it is very important to us to know your experience. We know that sometimes we can pleased everyone, your review help us to improve everyday. Despite this, we are pleased to know that you enjoyed the food. We hope you can give us another chance and see you soon.

Just headed down for a quick bite after reading the recommendations and the positive feedback is very much deserved. The food is delicious and although there is a waiting line, it moves pretty quickly. Very affordable too. There is a self serving buffet for salad items and salsa to add to the tacos you pick up at the front.

Suehiro is a good restaurant to go with friends. The food was OK I had the filet and chicken it lacked a little flavor. This was my first time here the other couple we were with said that the food that day was a little without flavor they think the cook was new because they go there often and it has more flavor. The drink was good I ordered the margarita. The desert was also OK....This place overall is OK.

Very creative food with delicious flavors and perfect execution. Amazing cocktails in a beautiful place. I enjoyed every second of my visit here. It was my birthday and this restaurant was ideal for the celebration. Iâll come back soon. MX$1,500 for a full dinner with drinks (for two).

atmosphere is nice, place is different as construction was not made specific for restaurant, they adapt a place that previously existed and used to be a place where you need to reserve in order to be able to get a table, not sure if it still, took visitors from other countries and they liked it very much
