Known for our casual atmosphere and outstanding food, delivered with exceptional service, the Bone Island Grillhouse strives to make every guest's experience a memorable one.
Our family of 9 enjoyed everything from the appetizers to dessert! The fried green tomatoes were a hit! The steak, vegan burger, seafood, pasta and catfish were all equally delicious. Try the peach cobbler for dessert - excellent! Only negative - crazy wait time. Reservations are not accepted. Our wait was about 90 minutes and when we were finally seated, there were numerous empty tables around us. Hello TigerCarol! Thank you for taking to time to review us! I would love to know more information about your visit. Please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]! Thank you! - BIG Marketing
Where to eat Diner food in Greensboro: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Located down a side road on the south side of Interstate 20 Exit 121 near the little town of Buckhead (not the Buckhead on the north side of Atlanta). This is a family run restaurant serving catfish and barbecue. I have never had barbecue there; however, there catfish and accompanying hush puppies are excellent. The Cole slaw ain't to bad either. You can get the bone in, all you can eat plate for $15.95 which include sides and salad bar. Only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Cash or check only and no close ATM's so come prepared. No alcohol.

We dined here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was about 3/4 full. We were immediately seated and our order was taken promptly. From there the experience went downhill. We had several members of the staff come by to check on us, but it took over 1 hour to get French onion soup and Caesar salads. Before we had even received the salads the manager came by to ask how our meal was, we let him know we hadn't received anything yet. It was another 30 minutes after his visit before we got the salads. The chef came out to chat with us as well before we received anything. It was a very odd experience. Although we had individuals stop by there was no apparent attempt to fix the delay or offer an explanation. We had the diver scallops and the pasta primavera. Both were okay, but nothing special. For some reason the diver scallops were brought with mashed potatoes instead of the risotto on the menu. We asked and were brought a small plate of risotto which was the best item we had. No apology at any time for the delay. While the food was fine, I would not return as the overall experience was a disappointment.
