Fischerklause is a traditional German seafood restaurant right by the pier. Over two meals, I had the chance to sample their cooked fish (Zander) and a platter of their salads and smoked salmon and pickled herring (Matjes). Everything is well prepared and presented. I have to say that I particularly liked the cucumber salad (Gurkensalat) that came with the Zanderfilet.

I enjoyed an excellent meal here with some business colleagues. The food is lovely and very fresh. I had a tartare of herring with beetroot as a starter which was really good and fried cod for my main which was also great. Service was very good. Highly recommended.

The location is certainly the best part. Parking was free and readily available. Service was slow. It was difficult to get staff attention at every course including the bill. I had the flounder and it was good - not amazing, but good. Price was average for a waterfront restaurant. Outdoor seating was convenient with my dog, but I didn't love the smoking at neatly ever table around me.

Even cowded and a bit overloaded this Restaurant offered excellent food and tasty local beer to gain the fish swimming again, as they told us. A large variety of fish, cold or cooked or fried is on offer. Top service and an ambient of Mecklenburg Coast Line interieur made us feeling like best guests ever.

My colleague took me to Teepott in Warnemunde for dinner one night; they had a wide variety of food items - however like most restaurants, limited vegan/vegetarian options. I had ordered asparagus soup and a cucumber salad - both excellent; a new potato/asparagus side was very bland. The ambience was the best for me - as it was right by the water - and I had a table that allowed me to look out at the promenade.

We spent a couple of days in Warnemunde. Found this place on trip advisor and made a reservation. They started us off with a nice gazpacho. We had the fish with butter sauce, the fish with ham and the ox cheek. All were very good. The fish were done perfectly and the flavors complimented each other well. We finished with the raspberry sorbet in lime creme with chocolate crumble. That was outstanding.

We had dinner on one occassion during our stay at the resort. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with very nice views. The food, however, did not really match the location. It was ok, but not great. We had aspargus soup which did not have much flavour and my aspargus salat for main course was so so. Service was kind of slow, but to give them credit they had a wedding reception to handle at the same time which may have impacted the quality of service at the main restaurant. I would go their again, if only for the location, which is hard to beat.

If you like good regional cuisine and the charm of a 160 year old farmhouse, then you are right with us.
We visited this restaurant not in high season, however, it was really crowded. The decoration of the restaruant is very stylish and fits to the restaurant. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The food - well, we waited something spectacular after the reading the reviews here in TA, however it was ok - not bad, but not excellent. But the fish soup was excellent.
