During our holidays, we had lunch there. The menu has a small choice of food but all are great. I had octopus salad that I strongly recommend. All fresh and very tasty. Please note they dont do pizza for lunch, only evening. The service is great, as beach restaurant is good. It has like 10 table approx so ideal to have lunch during your beach day. No experience how it is in the evening.

I was there with a friend of mine. We had seafood and fish. Everything fresh and good. Very simple dishes (the best in my opinion when speaking about fish). The atmosphere is informal. The service is good, and we appreciated particularly their flexibility; they did their best to accomodate our requests. It is a pity there is not a terrace outside with the sea view, because the location is very nice. Good prices.

The below (obviously) applies to peak-season (summer) conditions.By private car or the local bus from the town Iglesias it is less than 15 minutes to Plage Mesu. One of the better public beaches in southwestern Sardinia. Not only huge with wide vistas of sea and a rugged scenic coastline, its perhaps best feature is the overall service to swimmers and sun-bathers. An overlook from the paved walkway slightly above the beach gives the picture: Volleyball and other beachsports made possible by nets, sidelines and such.Rentable are the numerous sunchairs and sunshades on some of the best spots of the beach. A number of boardwalks make the more shallow beach -water accessible also for those physically disabled. For refresment there are oudoor freshwater showers at each end of the walkway there are bars for snacks and beverages. One of them (Ginas) also offering a more extensive italian menue. For this writer (being a physician) most impressive is the level of security at the beach. Not only the constant daytime presence of lifeguards. But also the perhaps unique presence of healthcare- staff in a regular-sized container serving both as a first-aid-station and a basic emergency ward.PS Like most beaches, midday is the time to avoid. Mainly because of general crowding of all facilities. But in the case of Plage Mesu there is also the midday-arrival of the not rarely strong Mistral-wind making beachlife generally uncomfortable. With the above comes the general rule of travel-guidebooks. I.e. good for general info of how, where, when and what. But the best general advice being: Go There and Find out Yourself!

The taste of Sardinia forgotten, even when the place of the restaurant rooms, surmounted by arches in red brick hosted the old stables, where they guarded fodder and shiny seeds today there are twenty tables, where couples in love, beautiful women, guests
I was there with friends to have dinner. The place is nice with a fancy terrace where we had dinner. Waiter for kind and the food is tasty. The bread they served was home made! We have gosh starters and one first dish. It was super good! The dessert as well was very tasty and home made. The fired local bread and stuffed it with chocolate cream, extra yummy. Perfect place and tasty food. We recommend it

Heaving with local families this unexpected delight is around the back of the village square in an uninviting basement exterior. However the food is simple and superb value for money. The waiters are friendly and accommodating and the rustic interior provides a great setting to experience Sardinian culture. Wonderful!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local person â and we came here several times. Every time the dishes were good and tasty (fish, pasta, etc.), service fast and pleasant, atmosphere calm and relaxing. It is not the cheapest restaurant, but probably one of the "best value for money" (especially on Sardinia where everything is not cheap). At the same time they do pizzas (also to take-away) which we did not find expensive.thanks a lot Mister,we are happy that you enjoyed our restaurant and you enjoyed our proposals ...I hope you can come back to visit usGreetings

After visiting Porto Flavia, we went looking for a nice lunch and found SâAnninnia... it ended up being an unexpected highlight of my visit to Sardinia. Amazing local food; very thoughtful details throughout, great service and charming Sardinian decor. We were travelling with a young child and they were prepared with a baby seat, and had change tables in the washrooms (this turns out to be rare in many places).

In the elegant Restaurant, with its wide veranda and panoramic terrace overlooking the garden and the pool, we serve homemade and imaginative Sardinian specialties. We offer dishes based on fresh fish and local genuine meats: typical Sardinian dishes in a
Food lovely and well presented -napkins and tablecloths - hotel traditional inside but yet very modern - we stayed 2 nights. 3km south of Iglesias. Bit difficult to find but explained this on hotel review. Wine list good. They also do pizzas. We had pizzas one night and a proper 3 course meal the other night - would definitely return - very good meal and for us the food was almost as good as the no 1 restaurant on trip advisor for this area where we had gone one day for lunch.
