We had dinner here on a Thursday evening. It was the waitress' first night! She did a great job with our demanding group of 9. The restaurant has fine dining food with a casual atmosphere. The food was excellent. We started with their charcuterie plate and their bruschetta. Both delicious! The charcuterie had a variety of cheeses and meats and other yummy items and was of a generous size. I ordered the black sea bass and it was outstanding! My husband had the short ribs, which were also very delicious. Everyone enjoyed everything they had - the Caesar salad had a very different dressing, which was terrific. I also had the escargots as a starter - excellent! The desserts that night were a strawberry bread pudding and a berry cobbler. Both devine!!! WE all ate WAAAY too much! Our thanks to the proprietor and our great waitress! When you go, be advised that it is cash only AND it is BYOB (a big plus for us!!)

Waited an eternity in an otherwise deserted dining area without being acknowledged by waitstaff. The server never appeared. Grabbed my coat and prepared to leave. Voiced my concern about poor service with management before exiting. As a discriminating patron, I have standards concerning what are basic rules of customer service. In the future, please don't pare waitstaff at the cost of customer service.
