So we found ourselves in the beach town of Giadiani Naxos on an extremely rainy Sunday afternoon and the beach was deserted, but we were in need of a meal and a few other souls stuck for what to do were gathered here. The staff did their best to remain chipper and cheerful and were very professional (obviously used to busier times!). Despite the lack of atmosphere we all had lovely pasta or fish dishes, a few beers and shared a pleasant desert. I'm sure the experience is much better on a sunny day as it has a prime spot and plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas.

La Spelonca is a charming, rustic and welcoming local Italian restaurant in Catania, Sicily. Ran by the warmest lady Betrem, who I was lucky enough to let the day before I dined there (6th September 2019). Fresh bread, which you don't get at all restaurants in the area. Swordfish Rolls delicatable, just the right amount of seasoning and garnish.Their Spaghetti Scoglio was absolutely amazing...I will definitely be returning to have this again!Desserts were also superb, we had both the Tiramisu and Pannacotta with Berries.A well deserved 5 stars! Tip: Definitely go hungry...you'll be glad you did!Happy Eating!

Based on high ratings on TripAdvisor we chose this restaurant for our final meal in Giardini Naxos. We got so disappointed. Our first course was ham and melon. The melon was rather hard and not so juicy. Parts of the ham had a slightly different color - and not so good taste. The highlight of the meal should have been the lobster. The menu warned that some fish might have been frozen. We were reassured that the lobster we were to be served should be fresh. When the dish arrived it both looked, smelled and tasted NOT fresh. Based on many meals with shellfish in our Norwegian homeland, and during many visits to Italy, we insisted to the waiter that these small lobsters must have been frozen. He promised to tell the kitchen. He never came back to us. We got no apology from anyone, and no reduction in price for the meal. We will definitely not return to this place. Just been there with my wife for lunch. We got a very rich appetizer, per owner's suggestion and it was really good. it started with raw fish (tuna, shrimps, clams, sea snail and aromatized dried salmon ),followed by caponata, shrimp cocktail and, at the end, fried calamari and shrimps. Local white wine was nice, from Santa Venerina, a local town close to Giardini Naxos. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a go and we will be back!

The waitress Maria is kind and super nice. She raccomanded the Sicilian antipasto made of vegetables only, grilled or oven baked, probably the nicest antipasto in naxos. The pig cutlets and the tuna are also very nice and nicely prepared but nothing truly special you cannot find elsewhere. They have also a small sortiment of craft beers well worth to try, personally I was more fond of the polyfemo a blend with a small amount of local wine nerello mascalese. Reccomended

We enjoyed a delicious meal and the very kind and forthcoming service. Both the appetizers (cheese with honey and prosciutto with pears) and the main (seabass in a fine crust) were very tasty.The waiter (probably the owner) seems to love his job and treats his guests very well. Our little daughter even got an ice cream before we left. We would definitely come back if we had the opportunity.

Dined here as a family of 4 with children. Really enjoyed ourselves, beautiful roof terrace dining with relaxing ambiance. Excellent service and food was amazing, one of the best meals weâve had here. They were very accommodating with our children, making them meals that were not on the menu. We hope to return.

Working in a 4m squared kitchen with his assistant, the food produced is incredible. The quality and standard is unbelievable, and the presentation is Michelin. The staff made perfect recommendations for the wine and also the food. I can say no more than a perfect night. I will let the pictures show the full story

The only place we ate at twice. The service was excellent and we only ended up here because we couldnât get in to the very over rated and disappointing restaurant next door with the queue. What a result! First time we had the beef fillet with cheese fondue. Oh my god. No steak knife needed. Next visit I had the Vongole. By far the best Iâd ever had. The wine was food. The bread was beautiful and fresh. Honestly, donât miss this place out. Excellent. Grazie per aver recensito il nostro ristorante. à un onore sapere che siamo stati lâunico posto in cui abbiate mangiate per due volte. La nostra carne è selezionata grazie al nostro macellaio Alberto che ci rifornisce della prodotto migliore. La nostra carta dei vini è di certo ricca ma la dobbiamo migliorare.
