Mi sono recato al ristorante con aspettative adeguate alle belle recensioni , purtroppo probabilmente sono incappato nella fatidica serata no . Diverse imprecisioni nel servizio, i piatti assaggiati (compreso uno sbagliato , perché diverso da quello che avevo ordinato) senza infamia e senza lode , ad eccezione di un' eccellente suprema di faraona . Buona anche la carta dei vini e giusti i prezzi . Locale dalle foto molto intimo e carino , che si richiama un pò allo stile liberty , ma ... dalle foto , ripeto , dato che sono stato sistemato in un'angusta stanzina con due tavolini attaccati al banco del bar ... ma perché ??

This is a very popular, and at times, crowded restaurant which serves fish, and pizza. Were really surprised by their hospitality and especially by food. After visiting practically all recommended "best" places in Fiuggi we found that jewel - don't pay attention to comparably simple decor - the place is truly amazing - after spending more than a week in Fiuggi the best pasta and fish in salt was definitely there, no tourist place, just for locals who know the difference. You will not starve at this restaurant. The food is good. You can find other restaurants that provide better experiences. I fear that catering to tourist tastes have diluted what the chef can do with the local ingredients. I love the hotel but the food could be a step or two better to match the accommodations and spa. For example, no salt and pepper shakers on the table. They had small packets of each. I found this very strange.Dear guest,First of all we would like thank you for your opinion and review, this is important for us. We are pleased that you liked the food, but we regret to understand that you are not fully satisfied from the cuisine and our Chef proposals. Our Grifoncino restaurant, serve both tipycal cooking and international cuisine, with the purpose of satisfy both italian and all international guests. About small packets of salt and pepper, according to recent laws for hygiene and food store, we must follow this rule and are obliged to provide single-use portions, with the same quality. At this restaurant, my family enjoyed very much a variety of seafood which was delicious and reasonably priced. The people at this restaurant were very kind and we could get the answers to our requests and questions promptly. I'd say the dinner was one of the best experiences of our trip to Italy.

It is a newly opened place specializing in fish next to the hotel we stayed at. Actually, we went there on receptionists' recommendation. Austere decor, limited choice on the menu, which probably guarantees that fish and seafood will be fresh.We chose three dishes. Misto calde and fritto calamari were good, though the portions were unusually small for Fiuggi. And they forgot 1 order (fish in forno). The waitress failed to understand as she doesn't speak English and she ran to the chef. He came to apologize and offered digestivo on the house. We were full and did not object.On the whole, it is not bad but I've been to much better fish restaurants in Amsterdam, Cascaish, Malaga, Amalfi, Naples... This one has a lot to learn.

We went once for dinner and once for lunch. Was really good. Great wine list. Lovely pasta and the anti pasti shouldnât be missed. Great new addition to Fiuggi. And the decor is lovely - very minimalist and tasteful
