Wow!We always visit Ray's 3 times a year, I don't usually have fish due to not being keen on fish.This time I thought I would give it a go and I wasn't disappointed, the batter was so tasty and fish was perfect, washed down with a glass of wine, a proper chippy.

As the title says was our 2 best meals of the holidays, missed this when searching for local places and it caught our eye when walking past so decided on a whim to go in, first impressions were good, lovely deco, the owner greeted us and gave us a choice of tables and made us feel very welcome, we were hungry so ordered starters (prawns were superb) and then home made lasagne for main, eyes bigger than belly but well worth it, second time went with pizza and the missus had the lamb which she devoured reluctantly sharing a small morsel with me. If there day off was not Wednesday we would have visited a third time, it really is that good.

We ate in the outside off the tapas menu and we were very happy with what we had. The prawns were expensive, but they were also delicious. My wife had the fried fish platter and was equally impressed with it. Not the cheapest place in town, but worth a visit. The first night we tried, but it was full so probably worth booking.

the seafood was amazing, fresh, crispy and just lovely. The service was very friendly and quick. Food was made very quickly and we were very pleased. we ordered tapas and it was just soooo good, other time we ordered dish and it was also lovely.... thank you very much and I hope we will come back some time.Highy reccomended.

We were staying in Finestrat at the Magic Tropical Splash hotel and decided to eat out one night and the offer of free sangria pulled us âinâ here though we were seated outside under the stars. The menu is very fish based but two of us got chicken paella and the other two steaks. The children had chicken.You are served bread rolls without asking and we only discovered when the bill arrived we were charged â¬2 each for even touching it!!! A cheek i think.The chicken paella was ok but I have had more flavoursome ones before and the chicken was very fatty as if it was thigh they had used I wouldnât order it again luckily there was some vegetables in it to fill me up. The steaks were nice but at â¬28 each overpriced when we got steaks a few nights later at Winnieâs up the road and it was amazing for a fillet at â¬12!!! (Go there)As were sitting eating we had a show of cats jumping and sneaking in and out of the restaurant while staff werenât looking and they even came over to our table as we had been left a trolley with the remaining paella next to us which interested them. We are not cat people so didnât like this. Overall I found it overpriced as the food wasnât amazing.

Having read the excellent reviews previously, we booked weeks in advance of our arrival and were not disappointed. Wonderful food, fabulous hosts! This little restaurant is tucked away in the Old Town, weâd never have found it without google maps. Our only disappointment was we couldnât go again during our stay as they were fully booked each night. We will make sure we are more organised next time we visit Benidorm so we can experience more than just one night here. Communication by email is really speedy too!
