I took my husband for his 50's birthday to this restaurant as both of us LOVE seafood. I tried to call the reservation number but never got through so we decided to drop in around 7pm on a weekday night, which is very early dinner time for Italians. There was only one table available till 9pm and we decided to take it. So we had to order rather in hurry. Food was very good and service was also very efficient but we did feel a bit hurried. I would like to return with a proper reservation.

Ristorante con specialità di pesce freschissimo in una location accogliente e intima nel centro di Firenze. Servizio accogliente e con il sorriso.
I found this place on google and had dinner there alone. This is a family business with very friendly staff members, great and fresh seafood, HUGE portion too! Definitely will visit again. Recommend!!!

We were recommended to this delightful restaurant by the owner of the place we were staying at. Which was lucky as it is not in the town centre so we would never have found it on our own. But it is only a 7 minute walk from the main square on well lit streets and is worth the walk. We were slightly dubious when we saw a note on the menu highlighting that some of their dishes are cooked from frozen and the wide choice available seemed to back this up. I would suggest that it is probably wise to select the local speciality dishes although everything was very nicely cooked and served. And it is good value for money too. Enjoy!!

The San Pierino opens its doors in the splendid estate that once housed the "Tessiturificio Bacci", adapted to the needs of a modern Trattoria of meat and fish, managed by young boys and girls who have been in the Florentine restaurant for over twenty yea
At Trattoria San Pierino--against my wife's  better judgment--I ordered the appetizer of anchovies marinated in onions. I thought I would be getting a small sampling; instead a large plate showed up, covered with anchovies swimming in lemony oil with marinated onions. They were the best I have ever tasted, so good, in fact, that my wife even tried a couple and actually proclaimed them edible. For our main dishes my wife ordered the pasta with meat sauce that came out steaming, mixed with a savory Tuscan meat sauce. Tuscan cuisine does not use much tomato, so the meat sauce is rich with the flavor of, well, meat and juices. She almost polished off the entire bowl.My order was veal steak with vegetables and, of course, roasted potatoes. The steak was not a true chop, rather more like an entrecôte cut, but the flavor was outstanding. I all but gnawed off the last scraps from the bone. Altogether, despite the annoying "coperta," we found this to be an excellent establishment that we would recommend to anyone. Thanks

Tucked away on Via Boccaccio near the Le Cure Farmer's Market this charming restaurant with an equally charming owner was a nice respite from the Centro Storico. The menu is sophisticated yet not fussy. With the owner's encouragement we tried new dishes and had wonderful evening. .Buon Appettito! !

Osteria al 3 is a pizzeria with Tuscany food and steakhouse. We are in the center of Florence in piazza dell'Indipendenza and we have a beautifull garden.
We stayed 3 days in Florence and we had dinner at this place twice! Delicious Italian food, great service, lovely garden at the back. We loved the bruschetta, the lazania and the tortellini! And the panacota with the riginal chocolate topping!! On the second day we tried the tomato soup and the ravioli. Good dishes but not so much close to our flavor. Actually, the soup had lot of bread inside that didn't look as a soup when it was served. However, it was tasteful.

I stumbled upon this place after eating at the nearby Cave di Maiano. The atmosphere of this place reminds me of an old New England shore house. The artwork, lighting, wood panelling are all very light colored. Of course white wine was served with the fish dishes, which they had a wide selection of. As an appetizer I had a filet of salmon, coupled with a crostini topped with pesto, and a slice of kiwi to finish off the flavors. A first plate option I chose the tri-fish platter of carpaccio salmon, large shrimp, and tuna tartare. And as a main dish a grilled fish with an olive and tomato sauce. Everything complimented each other, from the ambience, flavors of the wine, fish, bread. This place is a must if you visit Florence and want great tasting seafood.

In una rilassante atmosfera araba Cherlot offre pietanze e sapori Marocchini ed un piacevole aperitivo dalla ore 18 in poi..
Personnel is very kind and helpful, and even very good at selling their dishes. The suggested appetizer is the "taste everything", something like 8 or 10 very small samples of the available entrees, very good mix of vegetables, meats, and spices full of aroma. Main dishes are less attractive, prices are not cheap.
