Things to do in Falmouth
Very primitive beach shack advertising all you can eat lobster. Colorful characters. Cost $30/pp for plate of BBQ'd lobster with potato and side mixture. Very dark - a few candles for lighting, throw your shells on table. Had 1 1/2 lobsters then 'ran out'. Granted, they sent out for more, but as 1 of our party #'d a molar on a piece of lobster shell, we left early. p.s. Northern Dental clinic in Falmouth excellent!
Doc's Place Falmouth is a true Jamaican experience for both tourists and locals alike. Just 10 steps outside the gates of the Falmouth Cruise Ship Port, we offer a full tiki bar, Jamaican jerk center with jerk chicken, fish, rice and peas and local veg, a
A taste of Jamaica!! The food was very good and inexpensive. The selection is great, the service was very good.

We spent a night in the Hotel Fisherman's Inn, and we ate dinner and breakfast over there.I put 2 dots because breakfast was OK. Dinner was horrible! The fish has mostly bones and skin. When we asked why it is so, the answer knocked me out, that's for the safety reason. When I asked for explanation, I've got an answer, that if kids eat that meal, and there would be some small bone they would have a problem. The service was slow, and I really would like to say something nice. The waitress was nice, young lady. I leave alone the price - whatever it was wasn't worth the time and money we spent on that dinner. The nice thing is, that you can choose to eat inside or outside, by the lagoon.
Gourmet At KingStreet is a casual restaurant that serves Modern Caribbean Fusion Cuisine. Our meals and cocktails are second to and service is always complimented with a warm Jamaican Hospitality
I went to the Gourmet restaurant to try out their new menu and seafood night. I had take out because I had to leave, the meal was the best fried fish i have ever had.
Located in the Rock District near Falmouth (5 mins). Great seaside restaurant overlooking the Luminous Lagoon. Comfortable chairs, cold beer and great sunset spot. Food is good and reasonable..very reasonable. We had garlic and curried conch..amazing! Service is slow so be prepared to sit back, open a beer or two and wait. This is now our "go to" spot in Falmouth..no doubt about it. Oh, and their lobster pizza, available only on Saturday's, is amazing! Check Buzzo's out for sure!

We took the kids here, after having visited the Glistening Waters luminous lagoon boat tour on a previous visit. We did not realize we were going somewhere different... it is not as 'set up' as the Glistening Waters. We waited for at least a good hour to get on the boat..not sure why no boats were going at that time or what they were waiting for - no communication as to why and we were starting to get worried. Once on the boat, it was a nice ride and show. Several ppl got out and swam. The Glistening Waters tour boat seemed better - we could see more fish glowing and more glow from the boat. Where this boat went was right in a big light from several other boats and you could not see the glowing as well because of all that light.

We were kept waiting for 15 minutes for latecomers, which was not acceptable. Captain Jerry delivered fairly educational and enlightening information about the biodiversity in the lagoon. Not impressed however with his self aggrandizing introduction. Yet, he was gracious enough to fill a bucket and demonstrate the blue glistening water and encouraged us to experience this phenomenon. The photographer took very good photos.

Just back on the beach after a delicious grilled lobster lunch at Leonâs lobster. We had booked the day before and paid small fee in advance as he gets the lobster fresh from the fisherman. It is absolutely incredible! Served simply with sweet potatoes, baked potatoes and rice and peas. Delicious garlic butter! Portions are generous. Felt totally safe!Leon is friendly, welcoming and had our order cooking when we arrived.
