Reviews on Seafood food in Essaouira, Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz Region, Morocco. Portuguese, French and Berber architecture frame the maze-like streets of Essaouira, a charming and vibrant port and resort town on the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby, couples and families stroll the beaches of Cape Sim and Sidi Kaouki, which also attract surfers of all types. Relaxation is easy to find here, as is a bus to Marrakech, for those looking for a daytrip.

Staying at Riad Zahra you are just spoilt for choice to dine - both restaurants are excellent. We had a wonderful mixed fried seafood, which was excellent, good Tagines and even an excellent perfectly cooked steak and superb home made ice creams. Restaurant is open for dinner and lunch everyday. Fish & Vegetarian menus. Vegan and no gluten choices. Tasty, healthy, cosy and sustainable ! Triskala Cafe is serving only local food , fresh mixed juices of seasonal fruit and various infusion & teas. No
Our two starter and two entree meal was largely disappointing. The starters were good but the meal was ruined by the sides that came with the mains. The green beans and carrots had little flavour and were extremely overcooked and the smokey eggplant was bland and bitter. We were baffled by all the high TA reviews and annoyed at having paid above average for a subpar meal.

We were looking for a decent seafood meal in the Medina, and stumbled across Restaurant de Coeur...and it was a great find. I had the seafood pastilla, my partner had the monkfish...and it was close to the best meal in Essaouira. Beautiful food well presented...so good in fact we're going to go back for dinner...well worth thd visit. No wine or beer, but that is not unusual here

My friends and I are taking our first trip to Morocco. We arrived in Essaouira after several days in Marrakesh. Our driver recommended this restaurant and so off we went. We had a wonderful time and dinner. The food was perfect, the servers were wonderful and all was enhanced by the charm of the host. The host swears heâs French but we believe British. But whatever he said, we believed. Do not miss this place. The settings are beautiful, the food delicious, and the staff friendly and fun. Susie Mccormick. Dear Susie hank you very much for taking the time to write a review concerning your evening with us at La Table Madada. We are so pleased you and your friends enjoyed your time with us as much as we enjoyed having you there. If you or your frien publish any of your pictures please don't hestitate to use the hashtag #lespritmadadaUntil next time take care and have a great winter season. All the best Axel de Sambucy

Charming Italian restaurant. In this beautiful location you can find products imported every week from Italy. Fresh pasta like ravioli and gnocchi are home made every day. Carpaccio, italian charcuterie and tiramisu are real must. Pizzas are like the best
Shame we made a reservation for our daughters birthday thinking they would mark the occasion. We had to insist on the booth I had requested and they didnât even wish her happy birthday. The pizzas were good but the prices were UK prices. Dear Madame I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy your dinner at Gusto. As the waiter explained to you when you come to book the day before, and you checked the prices, we don't take reservation for a specific table. Anyway, also if the restaurant was fully booked, we managed to give you the table you liked. As you can imagine, nearly every day we have guests celebrating birthdays at Gusto. The moment they ask for the desert we add a candle and, as we have live music every night, we play an happy birthday song. It was not your case simply because you didn't ask for a desert nor something special. For better understand what you mean with "Good but very expensive", your bill for your three people dinner was 370 dhs, about 29 pounds or 34 Euro. Less then 10 pounds or 12 Euro per person. Please remember this is a restaurant. If you are not searching for good quality food, good service, nice ambience, if you are only searching for cheap food, please DON'T come to Gusto. All the best.Federico Rolla

Weâve had several good dining experiences in Morocco, but our dinner at The Loft was among the best. We arrived just after sunset, around 7:30, which was timely as we got right in just before the crowd. Our server - who was working maybe eight tables at the same time - spoke good English (as opposed to my poor attempts at French), was friendly and extremely competent. The atmosphere was modern with a traditional feel, the food and drinks (sorry, no alcohol) came quickly and what we ate - grilled octopus for me, monkfish for my wife - was excellent. Definitely worth checking out, especially the saffron creme brûlé for dessert.

Grilling dishes on glowing embers was at the base of all cookery, and is an art our Chef Mohammed has mastered perfectly. Here on the second floor of the Riad Zahra with an ocean view Mediterranean cuisine is to the fore. Paëllas, lobster or prawns, sea f
Eight of us on a group tour dined at Zahra's Grill on our last night in Essaouira. The dishes were marvelous. In addition to the menu, there were multiple appetizers and mains tailored to the types of fish available that day from the port. All of the diners on our group raved about their choices. Reservations are a must. The downstairs restaurant in Riad Zahra would have been our choice for the next evening if we weren't departing the next day.Dear Stuart,Good to see that you sharing the wonderful experience you had at Zahraâs Grill restaurantwith the world and happy to hear that you had a wonderful time at our restaurant.Next time you can visit our second downstairs restaurant Les Delices de Zahra.Hope to see you again !!!Xavier

Had our first dinner here upon arriving in Essaouira. Despite being windy we were able to sit outside as the wind is blocked (and they had blankets just in case). We both ordered fish dishes - the monkfish and the John dorry. Both were cooked perfectly. The vegetable sides were ordered were also excellent. Good wine selection we came back on our last day for a tapas lunch. It was even better. Great cheese plate, fabulous chilli prawns and great chicken skewers. Staff was beyond friendly and whole vibe is friendly and chilled. Do not miss this great spot. We had dinner here and were pleasantly surprised w/the setting, ambience, quiet blues music playing during dinner and would certainly recommend enjoying dinner here. We didn't reserve ahead and were seated immediately. Others dining while there were another couple, and 2 families at different tables. Quiet and well behaved children.
