Went there on a whim with no expectations. The service was phenomenal and welcoming . I decided to order a curry and I was not disappointed . My colleagues got the chicken pot pie and that was amazing. The portions are enough for two meals. When in the area it is a must!Michele,thank you SO much always great to here positive feed back & a "wow" is fantastic.We appreciate the time you spent to send this and please say hello to me Mary the next time you visit .

We visited the restaurant for the first time to celebrate Greek Easter Sunday. Here's the pros:Every employee was welcoming and everyone was ready and seemed excited to receive the Easter guests. The atmosphere was warm, the restaurant clean, the tabletops on point and the overall ambiance very positive. The live music provided was also very agreeable. Our service overall was good. From the menu the winners were the lamb chops, the grilled shrimp, the orange cake, the salads, and the chocolate mosaic. The items which needed attention were the kokoretsi appetizer (was not broiled adequately and a let down for me), the lamb with potatoes (above average but fatty), the side of horta (overcooked, chewy and lack of taste), and the galaktoboureko (also not fully baked). I wish the ownership and staff every success. The kitchen has some work to do to stabilize the product. Overall an OK experience but the dish quality did not mirror the price.We apologize for your less than perfect experience celebrating Greek Easter with us. This primarily seafood restaurant offers a fusion taste of western and Peruvian cuisine.I sat outside on the sidewalk and had half a dozen Prince Edward oysters on the half shell followed by a silky lime butter chicken from the lunch special menu accompanied by a creamed potato side served in a ramekin. Washed down with a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon blanc and topped off with a single scoop of apple martini sorbet, and coffee.Serve staff, Nelson, was charming and convivial.To be visited again, soon... don't miss it !

At some point, Syros was an excellent restaurant in the area, and then changed managements so many times that I'm not sure what is going on but I know that the food is off. The octopus appetizer was tough and chewy, the humus tasted terrible, they no longer have Scordalia ( my family's favorite). The fish was good, I had the branzino and it was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, the waiter was very quick in accommodating our demands, always with a smile on his face. I hope they figure out what is going on in the kitchen and fix the problem soom. I would give it another try.

Warm welcoming staff serving excellent food. The chick pea soup was tasty and served hot. Pasta with artichoke was excellent in white wine and chicken marsala with shrimp was delicious. Their menu is large and they are accommodating to food issues. We will definitely return

NJ hot spot. Fantastic food that rivals NYCs best. Great service. Steaks are awesome and the sushi and seafood are terrific as well.
