We were returning from a weekend in Spain, and were keen to eat the good portuguese foodâ¦In Spain thereâs actually no place you can eat on a Sunday night, and after a few hours of road this was an âOasisâ we found with good food. It's good to be back in Portugal. Both the typical soup (Gaspacho) and vegetable soup were very good. As seconds we had âPlumas de Porco Pretoâ a tasty regional pork meal, also a good plate. We saw some seafood plates circulating, looking very good and fresh. As this is a Seafood restaurant, this should be a good option for next time.Good effective service.Clean toillets, although missing on light.
This place was highly recommended to us by a competitor - our favorite restaurant in Elvas. We had the achigã (largemouth bass) grilled and will be returning soon to try the rest of the menu. The chef speaks rather good English too and gave us a lot of very helpful tips in English and Portuguese about the various fishes he prepares.

This is a very nice place to dinner. It is a standard atmosphere. The service is good, the weiter Mr Joao did a superb service. An excellent bread and Mimosa butter to begin. We asked Octopus with rice. Mr Joao oriented us that one portion (9.50 euros) would be enough for 2. It was perfect.Half bottle of Herdade das Servas was perfect for a lunch. We recommend.Total bill was 29 euros.

Really good food in a small elegant place frequented by locals. It's off by itself in a residential area about a five minute drive from the center. We found it through Trip Advisor and used GPS to get there. A good experience well worth the effort.

My review it will be simple.....1- El Cristo is more than a seafood restaurant....is a branch !!2- The freshness and variety of seafood is very good.3- The staff is very professional and friendly.4- Deco is cosy and trendy with a great atmosphere.5- Normally in seafood restaurants meat is not as good as the rest of menu.....but in this place the meat is just amazingly good....the " prego" is just the best I ever eat....the meat just melt in your mouth.6- Value for money.....Oh yes !!! Do I recommend? Absolutely !!! Hummm im hungry now....A king crab from Bering Sea....Please !!!!p.s.- Weekends or any Bank holidays i advise to book a table or else you probably have to wait....3 to 4 hours for a table !!!
