The history of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants began when Bill McCormick purchased Jake's Famous Crawfish Restaurant located in Portland, Oregon, and brought the more than 100-year-old landmark back to life. When asked the secret of how he revit
My wife and I had dinner here with 2 friends On the positive side, there was no stress - we could spend the whole evening talking without being rushed ( It was not busy) Unfortunately the Walleye fish cakes did not agree with my stomach . The other guest in the party enjoyed their food , but there was no link between the quality and the pricing. We used to live in Livermore Ca, so we were surprised to see Wente wines advertised as "special" for 47$. The service was also rather mediocre

Stella's Fish Cafe & Prestige Oyster Bar is a casual seafood restaurant located in the heart of Minneapolis' bus sling Uptown neighborhood. Specializing in accessibly priced super fresh fish & oysters, chef specialties, sushi, pastas and steaks, Stella's
My wife is a fish fanatic and we had high hopes for Stella's during our Labor Day weekend. Portions were small and not really memorable. Starter of Crab and Spinach Dip was good, especially with large pieces of crab, but way too much garlic overwhelmed the dish. We weren't even halfway through the dip and the main courses were served. VERY DISTURBING!Atmosphere was so-so, with drab interior on the main floor and TV's in the distance. If you are looking for a good dining experience, in a nice atmosphere, with excellent service, go somewhere else.

Anchored by a bustling open kitchen, Lela is comfortably modern with a friendly, sophisticated atmosphere. The menu is classic, yet creative, and features contemporary seafood crudos, prime steaks and house-made pastas crafted by Executive Chef Thomas Orb
If you haven't experienced Lela, it is a must! From their Chef's Counter Omakase to their wine tasting dinners, it is a magical experience. The Mother's Day Brunch was exceptional! Bottomless bubbles (champagne) for $10, and the servers were always at the ready. Starting with the salads, fresh fruits and shrimp and stone crab tower, you then work over to the traditional Sunday Brunch fair of scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, sausage links, heirloom carrots, cheesy potatoes, carved prime rib and roast turkey. The desserts were fabulous and numerous, in small portions so as to encourage trying several. And it lasted until 4 pm! Always fresh items being replenished. The finale was a long stem rose when you left.We will be back for brunch, in addition to the Omakase!

Took our son out for his birthday dinner. Ambiance nice with large booths. Noise level low and we could hear our conversations. Service was very good although our waitress talked too fast but was very familiar with the menu and the dishes. All dishes were great and we had plenty of food. For starters we had the chicken pate, fig and pear salad, calamari and spicy tuna poke. Not one complaint. For the table we had peel and eat shrimp that were seasoned nicely and perfectly done. Entrees included shrimp and grits, whole fried snapper, and scallops with a corn mash pancake with a coffee syrup. Again, no complaints just ohs and ahs! A side of roasted Brussels sprouts and roasted mushrooms. All lip smacking good. For dessert we had salted caramel ice cream, bread pudding and hummingbird cake which was to die for!! The bread pudding was awfully good also.No ice cream left. We got comped for a dessert given that we were celebrating a birthday. All in all just marvelous.Thank you so much for choosing to celebrate with us! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your meal and your experience. Susan says she's working on slowing down her speech, she just gets so excited talking about the food. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next visit!
