RED LOBSTER commercials make it look so good. Reality is that this older location shows it's wear..when the varnish on the table is worn thru, it's time for renovation.Greeter- head waiter was personable, and often covering for inattentive wait staff..our "Expert" waiter was friendly but mostly absent..the after rush hour service was just inattentive, they were not that busy.My salmon was slightly overcooked, the lobster tail was good but very small. No offer of butter or cocktail sauce for the shrimp was made, when I asked for melted butter, I waited. Shrimp appeared to be frozen shrimp, not fresh what you would expect at RL. My wife's chilled lobster and shrip roll was fishy tasting, and the stuffed mushrooms were nasty. If we had not been using a gift certificate we we would have protested the meal..Proof here is that Dublin's Captain D's is locally rated better. Not to mention East Dublin Seafood...ummm.Hi David M, weâre sorry to learn about your disappointing experience at our Dublin restaurant and weâd like to know more. Would you be able to give us a call at 800-562-7837; MondayâFriday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET so that we may learn more about your experience?

This is a fast food place for seafood. Nice, clean with a lot of condiments and southern style fried seafood. Good place to have a bite.

clean, polite and courteous staff, consistent offerings, comfortable setting. food is prepared after you order - so food is fresh. not a long wait. orders are usually correct & fast. good place to go to talk. no waitstaff so no one is rushing you out the door.

This place is hidden by the river and doesn't look like much but it is a very good local seafood place. I use to live in the Dublin area and still visit relatives in the area. We have eaten at "Jack's seafood" multiple times and were always pleased with the food and the service. Like I said, it doesn't look like much outside but DON'T let that fool you. It is very good and IT IS WORTH IT. Try it out !!
