It was a chilly winter day when we ventured into the Pennsylvania Soup and Seafood restaurant. Their special of the day was their grilled cheese and tomato soup. Not just any grilled cheese but brie cheese, ham and apples...yum. The tomato soup was rich and flavorful and excellent. A perfect way to ward off the winters day.

I have eaten here several times though never sat down to review it. This is a good place to go regularly as you can have sushi, a burger, or a tasy evening meal, all in one place. Doylestown is the last place I would expect to get a fresh good looking & tasty lobster roll, but the Lobster Claw offers them. This past week we especial traveled to Doylestown from NJ to check out the Lobster Claw for lunch. My wife tried the Fried Butterfly Shrimp and of course I had the Lobster Roll. Usually we go to the Jersey Shore for seafood and this place was almost as good, but without the ocean.

HopsScotchis the newest restaurant, pub, bar in Doylestown and it is the best. Located in the The Market, on Main Street it is a small bar that caters to the upscale crowd with great mixed drinks, a wide selection of beer and wine and lots of good times. The mixologists at HopsScotch are top notch. The smoked scotch and bourbon drinks are special. Be sure to put this place on your list of must goes. Besides the drinks, you can also order food from some of the other restaurants in The Market. See you there soon.

Six of us had dinner this week. Easy to make reservations. Seated promptly. Our server was attentive and helpful. Lobster bisque was outstanding as were the bacon wrapped scallops. The steak was tiny! Mashed potatoes were not hot, but they were pretty! They are a bit pricy for the food. One order was incorrect......full meal was served when appetizer was ordered.......price was adjusted on the bill. They do offer a veteran's discount......thank you.
