Ensemble acceptable mais sans caractère ; le cuisinier ne semble pas toujours suivre le service (plats oubliés)Cuisine ordinaire, et pas de cuisinier le dimanche midi alors que le restaurant est ouvert

Ate here with friends who live in the area. Nice little place with the freshest cod I have ever eaten. Everything came out hot, including the pommes frites which they make themselves. We ate early, so received our meals without delay. But as the restaurant filled up the staff of 2 servers (mother and daughter, I assume) could barely keep up and many diners waited a long time for their meals.

This restaurant is on the old Harbour, the Rosmeur. No better view!At lunchtime, sun is right in front.. so beautiful! In the evening somethings always going on...The "Chef" is a large jovial person, such an exceptional good one!Everything is made with "amour" and all products are local and so wonderfully fresh!

What was good was very good, but some things seemed strange.Grilled sardines were superb. My langoustines were, somewhat bizarrely, served with baked potatoes (good toppings though) and smoked salmon. All tbe separate ingredients were very good, but did not really go togetherFantastic setting gives the place lots of positive points.

We found this place on TA by chance, when the first place we were recommended by the harbourmaster was closed (it was Monday evening). We were very pleasantly surprised by the decor; unusual and slightly quirky, but very welcoming. The food was brilliant; fresh, tasty and organic and imaginatively served. The wine we tried was great too. We were sailing this time, but would love to stay here another time.

Lovely seafront location, we had to be protected from the rain today, with a clear cover for the terrace but it didn't spoil the experience. There is a really lovely choice of seafood and local specialities all presented with real care and attention. We had smoked salmon , superb prawns, sardines and hake all from the set menu for just 15 euros for 2 courses (18 with pud) and a bottle of lovely Bandol rose for not much more than £50, lovely service too.

The restaurant is in a great spot but we found the food, particularly the presentation, somewhat wanting. The starter was reasonably good but the main course was distinctly average. The icecream was very nice but all in all the bill did not truly fit the experience.

A wet day whilst doing the 'Sardine Trail' around town took us to this delightful restaurant. Lunchtime Plats du Jours were simply prepared and tasty. Mainly fish dishes of course but the French do these so well. Efficient service and a nice ambience so well worth the visit.

The restaurant is by the marina and has outside and inside seating.A good menu with crepes, fish and limited meat courses. Euro 26 for 2 courses if you want the set menu which has 4 or 5 choices for each course.Good wine list. The service was very professional and the food was served quickly and was excellent. Will certainly visit again.

Affronted that we had not made a reservation despite it being Wednesday in mid October and there being no other diners, the miserable waitress somehow managed to find a table in this huge soulless restaurant. The worst fish soup in France, very thin, unseasoned and with an unhealthy stale fish aroma was not a good start. My clams were at least edible but a mere 9 specimens in salty brown liquid seemed rather economic given that we had watched the locals gathering them at low tide by the bucket load. The sea bream fillet was cooked correctly but served with an utterly flavour-free mush of glass noodles and beansprouts which tasted of a tainted frying pan. My fillet de boeuf was far from seignant (rare) being charred and by French standards 'bien cuit'. It was served with a mystery tasteless veg accompaniment that may have been turnip. The desserts were dreadful dry factory produced things the colour of chocolate but no flavour apart from sweet. By far the worst dining experience anywhere in recent memory - avoid at all costs. Actually 138 customers awarded us of good comments for 9 bad opinion, what makes 94 % of satisfied customers for 6 % of disappointed. As opposed to what you think, we are not offended when you did not book, that belonged to our trade to put the question to your arrival because other customers booked and that enables us to manage the arrival of these customers.Concerning the fish soup, on our premises it is made with a Breton recipe authentic, white fresh fishes and conger what gives him its taste, contrary to industrial soups which more the share of time are made with fishbone and of the agents of chemical flavour. Concerning the vegetables which you did not know to identify they are fresh Jerusalem artichokes, if you had taken the time to read our map instead of being in criticism as of your arrival, they are announced and you could have appreciated what you eat⦠I note that you allotted a very good opinion to one of my fellow-members who as of the first photoposter an industrial charcuterie plate and which adds up 35% disgruntled customers. I thus allow myself you inform that you are far from being large culinary critic and that you should question your palate instead of severely judging a restaurant, small council do not go in restaurants which offers fresh produce and home made, you choose with a tourist factory and choose rib steak.
