Holy Cow! All the locals need to visit this place and keep them in business. The world needs restaurants like this. The service was awesome. The food was just outstanding! All four of us were greatly impressed by our selections! What an awesome find.

Bocas House is a Latin American Restaurant where you can taste de different flavors from the latino flavors that make Miami a multi cultural experience.
Iâve been here a few times and the food is always superb. The prices are good, especially for the the lunch menu where the quality far surpasses the prices. The dessert milkshakes are to die for and may be your sole reason for going. The meat is good and the steaks are always good perfectly. Maybe not the freshest beef ever but still quality meat. If you base this review solely on food alone I would give a 5, but .... there are some downsides to this place you have to overcome. This original Is off the beaten path compared to its newer additions in places like Weston. The parking lot at this location gets crowded and parking can be cutthroat. The worst thing is there are no reservation, only a place keeper in line and the first few times I went it was hours. Mostly because the popularity and the space inside is fairly quaint. Overall are great establishment that is a frequent for me.Thank you so much for your visit and feedback! We're really glad to know that you were here enjoying with us. We'll make sure to take all your comments into account in order to improve. Also, you can place your reservations through opentable!

I visited this restaurant last night. I had some sushi and a couple beers. The traditional rolls we're avg size but the specialty rolls are huge. Large enough to share. Although there weren't many patrons in the restaurant and it was well staffed, I was a little disappointed in the service. Everyone was polite and professional, it was just slow.

A modern interpretation of the Japanese Izakaya. We took inspiration from the Tsukiji market to offer a complete catch to consumption experience.

I have been here on various occasions and the food and service is consistent. The Peruvian food here is more upscale( smaller portions) food and preparations are on point. The tradicional green spicy sauce here is pink and very good. We had the traditional Ceviche and papa a la huancaina as appetizers( raw fish and potato with special sauce). We also had the chaufa( fried rice with seafood), tallarÃn con mariscos(Japanese style noodles with seafood) and Tacu Tacu con lomo( a chick pee rice with steak). The food was scrumptious, highly recommend. There is a second location in Coral Gables. EnjoyHi, thanks por your special review. We love peruvian food and your visit is very important for our service. We hope see you back pretty soon.

their ceviche is all fish and shrimp. Yesterday I asked for ceviche cremoso, fish only. the dish was made with a dark colored, sardine like fish that was smelling like fish. I guess they had all prepared and cut up an old filet they had somewhere.fish can never smell like fish.John,We appreciate your kind feedback. I saw this restaurant was #8 of 3000+ restaurants in Miami. I expected an outstanding experience. It was in a run down shopping center. As I walked in I noticed how dingy and unexciting the interior is, think old diner furniture. I actually got more excited because if itâs this unimpressive so far and #8, the food must be out of this world. Lots of fish on the menu but Iâm not a big fan. I almost got up and left before ordering but decided to stay to see if it was as good as everyone thought it was. I ordered a quarter of a roasted chicken with two sides, French fries and pinto beans. As it arrived all 3 items were piled on an oval plate. I looked at it as my expectations died. Ho hum French fries, a breast and wing of average tasting chicken, and a bowl of pinto bean soup with about 15-20 pinto beans. Very disappointed. Looking back I realized many of the reviews praised the wait staff. They are very attractive and friendly but that doesnât make the food taste good. Usually, Travelocity is on the Mark with their ratings,. Not this time.
