Great location, great food, great prices, great service. What's not to like. The very effervescent servers, Jenny and Kylie, have left to go back to university, but the dedicated "regular staff" are always happy to serve. We live nearby and very much appreciate the ability to "pop in" and are happy to show our numerous guests "from away" what life in NS is all about. "Beer, lobster, enough said" plus a great view!

The lovely wife and I ate here with her parents...A very warm welcome and a table overlooking the veranda and view beyond led us to the menu. The special of maple whiskey bacon wrapped scallops was amazing, I would cheerfully have taken 7 or 8 portions home.... Large portion sizes so maybe share or skip the starter if you are looking after your waistline!

Stayed in Digby the night before the ferry to St. John. We chose the Wheelhouse because it seemed to be the most popular. We were not disappointed. The seafood lasagna and the haddock with lobster were both very tasty. The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant sits along the waterfront for great views. Gets crowded; go early.

We are casual dining with a fine view of the bustling Digby Wharf. We offer the freshest seafood and generous portions.
Nice view across the bay to the fishing fleet. And of course I couldn't resist the wonderful Digby scallops that were on the menu. My wife had the Haddock bits which were very good. Not impressed by the house white wine. But all in all a good experience.Hi there, Thanks for the review! I've read this over a couple times trying to figure out how to respond. I'm glad you found us not sophisticated, to me that is stuffy and uncomfortable. We focus on the food, not the wine, it's Peller Estates from a box. We promote casual dining with a fine view. I'm glad you enjoyed the important stuff, the food and the service. :)

The portions are fantastic, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are very good. This isn't a fancy restaurant, but based on how busy they are lots of others feel the same as I do that it offers a great meal for a great price. Arrive early as prime dining times are very busy.

The Press Gang, located in the heart of downtown Halifax, is one of the cityâs oldest historic stone structures dating back to 1759. Boasting a formal dining experience like no other in the city, The Press Gang features an extensive menu with a rich array
There were three of us and we all enjoyed the seafood dinners. The preparation of the food was superbly presented and cooked. The service was attentive, courteous, and fun. Highly recommend this place for a premium dining experience.

Ryer's Retail store is situated on the shore of St. Margaret's Bay. Offering fresh Live only Nova Scotia Lobsters, mussels and oysters. We are open daily from 10:00am until 5:00pm Closed on Wednesday's
Stopped here thinking it was a restaurant (Trip Advisor thinks it still is). This is a retail and wholesale lobster operation only. So many people make the same mistake we did, that they have pre-printed fliers that are their top wholesale customers in the area. We went to Shaw's Landing which was highly recommended by them and we had a fantastic lunch there.

If you want fresh, locally-sourced food served in a casual atmosphere among friends, Rhubarb is it. Operators, Jim and Diane Buckle care a lot about their food and their customers and it shows. Together, they have crafted a tasty array of seasonal, value-
We had a group of 7 traveling from Halifax, they didn't have any space inside so we sat on the patio. It was a bit chilly but they had nice fuzzy blankets out there to wrap up in if needed. The smell coming from the kitchen of this place was amazing and even though we only stopped in for drinks, we ended up ordering one of the days pizza specials and it was so delicious, I could have ate one by myself instead of sharing! Great service, huge selection of beer and cider, great food!

Welcome to our family restaurant! We are now open for the season. With the wonderful support from our community and guests from away, we are entering our 24th year of service. My husband is known for his delicious, thin battered, and crispy English style
This restaurant was recommended to us since we were visiting Digby, so we had to try it. The Scallops were delicious! I had the pan-fried scallops with mashed potatoes and everything was delicious. The pan-fried fish was delicious as well. It doesn't look like it would be an awesome restaurant from the outside, but it is definitely worth visiting. People kept coming in, so it's a popular place for a reason!

Our restaurant uses all local fresh seafood including Lobster, Scallops, and Haddock, or if you prefer have a steak cooked to perfection. All our dishes are made fresh everyday to order, enjoy a glass of wine or beer and watch the fishing boats return to
Checked into the hotel on a drive down the south shore. Hotel had just opened for the season and there was only one other room occupied while we were there.Lady at the front desk very friendly. We were upgraded to the second level with larger beds and a better view. The room was large and a little dated, but what a view of the water! We left the curtains open all night to enjoy it.Beds were firm, with decent bedding and pillows. We had a room where the bathtub and surround looked quite new. Lots of hot water for a bath. There was also a mini fridge in the room.We did not eat in the restaurant and the indòor pool was not heated up enough to enjoy. Our night was quiet and checkout was quick. I did enjoy my stay in Digby and would recommend this hotel. Good value.
