black & blue sets the bar for the New American Steakhouse; elegant yet unpretentious, sophisticated yet approachable. b&b offers an inventive design and unparalleled ambiance for you and your guests. Our inspired cuisine coupled with our gracious hospital
Its lovely to be greeted with acknowledgement of our anniversary plus 2 glasses of Champagne. Husband had Lobster Bisque, Oysters, Rib eye done a perfect med. rare, & Asparagus which was a little too crisp tender. I had their wonderful she-crab soup,a half salad which had a very tasty vinaigrette dressing, & Salmon which was delicious. We ended our dinner with Key lime Pie, & an order of Sorbet. What better way to celebrate. We normally don't dine on this much food, but it was worth the diet we now have to go on. Accolades to Amanda & Ryan who were very attentive to our every need.Thank you for choosing b&b for your anniversary! We hope to have you as our guests again, soon.

Athos was voted one of the 50 Best Greek Restaurants in America by The National Herald. Casually elegant, Athos serves only the very freshest seasonal ingredients, lovingly brought together using time-honored recipes and techniques, like clay pot cooking,
Elegant upscale Greek establishment with excellent service and cuisine. Delicious Athos salad with Bibb lettuce, strawberries, onions, feta and pistachios; Saganaki, grilled octopus, and smashingly fresh dolmathes (no trace of that sickly pickled taste that sabotages most versions). For the entrees, fabulous yiouvetsi with lamb shank and grilled lamb chops. Excellent overall.

My friend suggested that we dine at Barcelona's. I had never heard of it before. It is a lovely cozy restaurant located on Western Avenue in Albany by the SUNY campus. It has a Mediterranean ambiance. From the outside it is not impressive but once I walked inside the simple tasteful decor caught my attention. The staff was very attentive. There was a small bar which was busy. It had a romantic charming atmosphere. The menu had a nice variety of choices and dinner for two was $60. For dinner I had the seafood Alfredo's which was delicious. The portion size was perfect. I must confess I ate the entire dish. The fish in the dish was cooked to perfection. My drink from the bar was perfect as was the service. We skipped dessert because we were too full but a couple at an adjacent table had dessert that looked yummy. I will definitely return to Barcelona's. There is a parking lot and we did make a reservation which I would suggest.

Known literally around the world for warm and welcoming hospitality, Jackâs Oyster House has been continuously operated by the Rosenstein family since 1913 and is now under the direction of grandson Brad. Along with French Certified Master Chef Luc Pasqui
We stopped in for a mid-afternoon cocktail and something to eat. While the restraint was still empty, the bar attendant was very accommodating. The bar itself is small but comfortable and we were able to stay at the bar to eat. Be warned, not a cheap endeavor.
