O'Sullivan's Bar is located in the heart of the scenic village of Crookhaven nestled in the Mizen Peninsula of West Cork. The family run bar which overlooks the beauty of Crookhaven harbour prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and great food & drink.
We happened upon this pub by accident. We want in for a drink and the lovely looking food on the tables encouraged us to have lunch. The open crab sandwich is delicious. We also had chowder but didnât like this so much, it was tomatoe based and the fish was not identifiable. Didnât like that margarine is applied to the accompanying brown bread before delivery to the table. Good brown bread calls for good quality Irish butter and the customer should be allowed to apply it themselves. The owner and staff were friendly and efficient, great service especially as itâs a busy little spot. It was cold the day we were there but there is outside seating overlooking the sea which would be lovely if the weather allows. We will definitely go back for the open sandwiches but please switch to butter.

While driving towards Mitzenhead we drove past a sign that advertised food in nearby Crookhaven. We had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised when we drove up to Crookhaven Inn. We ordered some locally produced lamb served with a pint of Guniess and we were absolutely mesmerized by the taste. We really recommend this restaurant; the staff, the food, the atmosphere, it all blends in and makes it an amazing genuine Irish experience!

The food in Nottages was excellent on both occasions we visited. Would highly recommend the crab lasagne! We also had the steak, the duck and goats cheese salad and all meals were full of flavour and a great size for the price. The staff were all very friendly and we loved the background music. Looking forward to returning!
