Had the lechon kawali. It was worse than most I have had in other parts of the country. Drinks were ok, but how can u mess up a beer, oh wait to serve it warm (what just happened here).

Okay. Of course we didn't expect great sushi here. We didn't even expect good sushi. This is, after all, not Japan, not even Manila but Coron in Palawan. We didn't expect horrible sushi either, however that was exactly was this was. The dinner went something like this: Me: "Can we have the tuna nigiri, please?"Waitress: "Sorry, we're out of tuna, we only have salmon"Me: "Alright, we'll take the salmon then. Can I have a mango shake, please?"Waitress: "Sorry, no mango"Me: "Oh okay, what kind of fruit do you have then?"Waitress: "Sorry, we have no fruit"Me: "Uhm okay, just a water then, thanks"A few minutes later.. Waitress: "Would you like pickled ginger or raw ginger for your sushi, Sir?"Me: "Pickled ginger, please"Waitress: "We don't have picked ginger"Me: "Uhm.. okay, I guess I'll have the fresh ginger then.."Sushi arrived. The salmon had just been pulled out of the freezer so it was ice cold and so wet it was leaking water on the plate. The fish to rice ratio on the nigiri was about 1:6, in fact I've never seen a bigger rice ball on sushi before. The rice was luke warm and fell apart the moment it touched the soy sauce. The wasabi was without flavor. The salmon itself was soggy without any taste to it, a slight hint of salmon perhaps but that was about it. The sashimi was the same. The two lonely prawns on top of two massive luke warm rice balls looked old and the tail of the prawn was black for some reason. Bill was 750 pesos. We couldn't wait to leave. And to the reviewer claiming that nowhere is there fresher sushi than on top of the water the fish was caught in: Salmon is not caught in the Philippines.

We enjoyed the sunset here, but the food arrived so far apart that my friend was done eating before my food had arrived. We had two of the signature dishes, that were alright but not impressive

The menu is very limited (perhaps the staff only gave me the specials selection rather than the actual menu?). Was looking forward to some good Chinese food, but the options were not at all what I expected... Also, the place is out in the open. I was eaten up by mosquitoes.

Savor the succulent flavors of the land's harvest and the ocean's bounty at the Firefish Restaurant. Delight in a medley of fresh seafood and tender meats served with the farm-to-table goodness of fruits and vegetables coupled with organically-grown herbs
Buffet is ok. But the servers are quick to top up your water and collect your empty plate. At dinner time, they play the piano live. and afterwards, a group of crew will serenade every table. The songs that they sing are very relaxing, soft melody and romantic. Well done!

Kawayanan Grill is a Filipino-owned resto within Coron Town. It serves the best exotic local seafood dishes such as Grilled Kibao (local clams), Pitik Lobster, Bicol Express Octopus and Kinunot na Pague (Sting Ray). It also has a wide selection of delicio
If you're in Coron town and you're looking for a great place for dinner, then Kawayanan is the place for you! It's got a lovely native ambiance al fresco, friendly staff and, more importantly, great seafoods at affordable price! I would recommend particularly their fried seafood platter and sizzling squid! From the outside this restaurant may look quite small and simple. But wait till you step inside! It has beautiful cottages and a second floor as well. The place serves really good foods and I can tell that from the number of diners present when we went there. Yes, the place does get full. I don't know if they accept reservations. We were just quite lucky to take the last seats available. This restaurant definitely deserves to be included on the list of the best restaurants in town! Try it out when you're in Coron if you like seafoods! You won't regret it!

Loved the food especially Rufu's Famous Makaha Tacos. Staffs are very rude not even looking at the customer if they have a need. They even talked bad (in tagalog) to some foreigners.

We are a local restaurant serving fresh seafood, homemade noodles, grill fish, vegetarian dishes and many more!!! Now Open for BREAKFAST! Open EVERYDAY 7:30AM to 10:00PM
Me and my kids really enjoy the food in this restaurant. The food were really really great. At first, we are hesitant to enter as it looks way different from the fancy restaurant nearby but hey sometimes looks can be deceiving. The octopus and chicken sisig are my favorite. Funny thing is when it was served in our table, all the foreigners nearby want that sisig also. Enjoy!
