Beautiful meal! They have a menu de jour in the afternoons and evenings, Monday to Friday which is great value at â¬18. The food is really good, and the service was efficient and staff so very friendly. We had the fish dish, and it was so tasty. This to my mind was as French as it gets, lovely food, warm welcome and friendly service. Will go back!

Eleven of us dined here in the evening. The menu was varied and fishy (the meat options were great too and a vegetarian managed ok). The server did as best he could dealing with broken French. We gave him a huge tip, because by that point we'd sampled the local wine.

This oyster and shellfish restaurant is not easy to find - it appears out of nowhere at the end of a road leading to a rocky beach where oysters are harvested. It's energetic and busy, with friendly service staff and the chef presiding over the dining room. The turbot and coquille st Jacques are excellent. They sell oysters and other shellfish in the back of the restaurant. It's interesting to see them. It's a lively little place decorated with nice original Breton artworks. Well recommended.

Checking for eat oysters we found the best. The service was friendly, the tables across the street have a view on the Belon river. The oysters was amazing in taste and freshness and the bottle of white wine "Muscadet/lie" was cheap and very good. The atmosphere was good with singing birds around. We really enjoyed this place and for sure we come back. If you like oysters that the place to go.

I first got acquainted with Anne De Belon by watching Anthony Bourdain's " no reservation" show on Brittany, being originally from Brittany and an oyster connoisseur I made a mental note for my next trip. Riec Sur Belon is not on most tourist's map when visiting Brittany unlike her 2 neighbors; Pont Aven and Concarneau but if you're close or willing make a special trip to taste what is often referred as the best oyster in the world you won't be disappointed. From the center of Riec Sur Belon you'll drive about 3 miles on a small country road that will take you to the Port (harbor) Belon (if you're not sure follow the sign " chez Jacky" a well known seafood restaurant, overpriced if you asked me, that is 100 ft from Anne' oyster). Don't drive all the way down, park on the only parking lot above the harbor and walk down, take a right at Jacky's and walk another 100ft ( a dead end) to find Anne. Anne, a 3rd generation ostricultor was on the docks on this quiet, over cast, weekday when we walked in. Anne welcomed us with a warm smile and after sharing some educational information and fun facts about oysters me and my brother were ready to eat! We ordered 12 flat#3 and 12 Creuse #3 ( the number indicates the size). It was served with some fresh bread and butter, lemon and vinegar pearls and if your heart desire a cold glass of muscadet. A delight!!! So much flavor delivered, so good that we ordered another 2 dozens to go. When you visit Anne don't expect anything fancy, she still use all the traditional ways of cultivating oysters and most of the year there's only 2 people working, 5 for the summer months. The seenery is unbelievable seating on the dock looking down in the baie the whole experience was amazing. Prices are very good expect to pay from $7 to $9 per dozen depending on the size. If you like a plate of mixed seafood with langoustines, bigorneaux, crab, lobster and oysters its also available for less than 20 euros per person.
