We hadn't seen our friends since the wedding so met up with them at Karina's. Lively atmosphere, wonderful margaritas and delicious food, you can't go wrong. I started off with a Tamarindo Margarita which hit the spot so I ordered another one. For dinner, I had the Camarones Karina's (sauteed shrimp in a spicy poblano sauce with rice and flour tortillas). All in all, a nice experience but I would caution that parking can be a pain especially when it's a busy night.
My husband and I enjoyed an awesome meal here the other night! We started with guacamole that had a great chunky texture with plenty of fresh salty chips. I enjoyed a creamy horchata (Mexican non-dairy milk with cinnamon) and he tried a michelada, and they both arrived in gigantic mugs! We ordered their spicy shrimp tostada (they let you pick a spice level from 1-10) and their smoked marlin tostada. Both were so fresh and perfectly prepared! Our server even brought us complimentary cups of soup. The prices were very reasonable, with their lunch specials looking like an amazing deal. The service was great and the food was fantastic! Definitely a new go-to spot for us!

I think the reason this place still has a strong following is due to the scantily dressed waitresses. Not to mention, the excellent service. However, it falls short immediately there after. The food is mediocre. Oddly, they charge $2.00 for the dipping sauce that should accompany the bread. The king crab legs that we were served tonight were less than desirable. The steak and accompaniments average. The only part of the meal we thoroughly enjoyed was the clam chowder soup. It was excellent. They have live music Wednesday - Saturday. Just an overage dining experience.
Service was a little slow to start. Beautiful establishment, great food, good service. Margaritas were fabulous, the food was wonderful, choose the outdoor seating. Very nice dj playing music near the bar inside. Can't beat the happy hour deals, got them by accident. Calamari was fabulous and a huge serving. Will definitely return.

Quality not good meaning the crab claw app was freezer burnt. Asada tacos meat cold steak on the combo 3 was tuff. And the grilled octopus also was freezer burnt . It looked like sponge and tasted the same. You would think the waitress would wonder why no one is eating much and ask. And waitress did not come by to check either we had to chase her down to pay.

Went into red lobster in Chula Vista CA for dinner sat down and ordered drinks. When looking at menu found what they call Bar Harbor lobster bake with Petit Maine lobster Tails I asked the server why they got the small lobsters was told from Maine.i asked if they were the same tail size as the1+1/2lb Maine lobsters in the tank.she told me way smaller. She asked if I like to talk to the manager and I said yes when he came over I asked where he got the small lobsters he said that they came from Canada so I said that you are deciving the public to make them think it's from Maine .so he asked why was I so worried and since I'm from Rockland Maine and our family are all lobstermen and fishermen and not allowed to catch shorts in Maine. He then brought the box out where they get them from and and says from Canada also the menu is set up by corporate office and Canada is so close to Maine they wrote it that way sounds better then saying Canada.and from a small town where I live close to. And when we got the food we ordered one of us ordered the special and got one of the Petit tails and was well smaller Had to ask for table settings as didn't have got in paper napkin where every other table had cloth napkin and wife had to almost yell to get some service like butter for rolls and to put on potato.Hi, Alton H.
