Just outside the old town, this is a neighbourhood restaurant mainly frequented by Italians but probably used for something a little bit more special. The owner really takes pride in his restaurant. Reservations necessary. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. A very enjoyable experience

Awful entrance up a steep flight of stairs but worth the climb. Lovely aperitivos all based on home grown vegetables. Delicately flavoured arrabiata pasta to follow then straightforward main - petti di pollo on our visit but varies and includes fish. Great spumone as sweet. Cards are not accepted.

Nice restaurant in Cavallino. Found it on our travel guide and we tried it to change scenery from the very nice food and masseria were we stayed. The place is very popular among locals, which is always a good sign. The food is simple but plentiful, especially the antipasti. This is not high cuisine, but just a simple village osteria were you can have a good time and enjoy traditional dishes. The garden is very agreeable! Would go back!

The restaurant is a short walk from our hotel, as we did not want to drive due to the late hours. The place was full of families and teenagers. We were led to a dining area away from the crowds. The linguine with seafood was very good. Service was okay, though we were greeted warmly by the manager and director of the restaurant. The white wine recommended by our waitress was good. Just a bit noisy to be a romantic venue for couples.

We just spent 3 weeks in Italy and dined at a number of mid and high range restaurants each night and most days for lunch. My husband and I rate this restaurant as our number one choice for a number of reasons:- the host/waiter's (Giovanni) service was impeccable, the bread was all freshly made and delicious. We opted for the a la carte menu and each dish was fantastic. The price was very, very reasonable. We also had a great Puglian red Primitivo wine, very good and very reasonably price. Only 6 tables. You can see the creativity and care that goes into the food. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely little family restaurant in a quiet residential area, well frequented by locals. Every care and attention from the owner and staff, everything we had was great - pasta with spicy soft cheese and tomato delicious. Good wine at a very tempting price - easy to order more than you really need! Thanks Mantony for your impeccable and useful review Goodbye from the Lerian staff

We entered the restaurant, starving, about half an hour before they were scheduled to open. Instead of telling us to wait for normal business hours, the owner welcomed us, seated us and gave us free appetizers to tide us over until the staff arrived! What hospitality! The food was all wonderful! We had scampi, two ways, seafood pasta and antipasti.

We were lucky enough to visit this delightful restaurant for a full pasta making experience. We were taken through the making of many varieties of pasta and it was clear they are absolute experts in pasta and appropriate accompaniments. Our lunch was absolutely delicious and we were lucky enough to sample some of the fresh pasta we had created. If you are even remotely close to this wonderful restaurant we would highly recommend a visit if not for the pasta making experience, then definitely for lunch or dinner. A truly unique and personalized experience!

Seafood restaurant awarded as Best Restaurant in Lecce Entrance to Piazza Sant'Oronzo in via Fazzi, 15 It offers specialties of raw and cooked sea with mastery by chef Alessandra Civilla
We arrived in Lecce and where advised by the hotel that we didnât need to book a restaurant. How wrong was she! We eventually arrived by chance at this restaurant. It was very very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent also. Highly recommended by
Restaurant specialized in tartare and other fish/seafood dishes using the freshest ingredients of the local area.
Even though it isn't centric it is easy to find, its goal to serve local fish in a contemporary way, different from what it is usually found in Lecce's centro. I am vegetarian and was pleased to find an aubergine and mint tartare, I didn't feel the mint but I still enjoyed it, it made feel pleased and relaxed. Then I tried the whole grain fusilli with four vegetables, it was good but lacked the magic that the tartare had. I finished with a panna cotta. Go try it for a special moment. Thank you for your visit and for your extremely useful feedback! We'll work on improving our dishes to make you even happier next time you'll visit us!
