Waiting to board a cruise ship at Hamilton, we were delighted to discover Samies for lunch. Excellent arrangement of fresh seafood, shellfish. Great value cooked fish/seafood, etc., and chips. I ordered grilled fish with coleslaw - really large portion and most enjoyable. Really good lunch specials. Friendly, prompt service and clean eating areas. Could not fault

The Lake Macquarie Yacht Club bistro has great food at reasonable prices. We went there for lunch with friends on Easter Saturday and throroughly enjoyed it. Fortunately the weather was good which made our choice of seating out on the deck a good one. With views across the marina, lake and foreshore, what more could you want. Service, from both dining and bar areas was friendly and prompt on a reasonably busy public holiday. Meal sizes were good and prices reasonable. Recommend the battered fish & chips (John Dory fish), Scotch Fillet steak and Thai Beef salad. Will definitely go there again.

Crusoe's on the Lake is the waterfront restaurant within Lake Macquarie Yacht Club. Serving modern pub food with seafood influences the Belmont restaurant is a popular place to eat with an expansive deck area. Specialising in functions and events, there a
Great location with friendly and helpful staff. Eaten here several times and never had a disappointing meal. Love the Lemon Pepper Squid, Seafood Basket, Double Beef Cheese Burger, and the various mini cheesecake desserts are a good way to finish. A great spot for a meal whilst enjoying the views on the edge of Lake Macquarie.
Where the coffee food and service is all as good as each other
The Burgers are spot on GREAT value for money. They will design any burger to your needs. The Eggs Benedict burger is my choice while Hubby tried to tackle the Parlor Burger that consists of a 180 gram Angus Beef Pattie,Bacon, Pineapple, EGG,Tasty Cheese and a Scotch Fillet aswell as the usual salad. My mum had the Bacon eggs Benedict and thoroughly enjoyed it and is already wanting to go back next Saturday morning. The staff were happy to design your meal to suit you and will serve it with a smile. The coffe was fantastic and I know where I will be ordering my cuppa every morning before I head off to work.LEE the owner is more than happy to take phone orders if your in a rush and have your brekky and a hot cuppa ready for the drive or even just a cuppa no order is too small or to big SERIOUSLY nothing is to hard...Dont miss this hidden secret I have found my new local...
Best Thai food near Cams Wharf, Lake Macquarie, New South Wales
About 1 - 2 years ago Top A Lot changed owners and it hasn't been for the better. The issues I've had: fish smelling weird, portion sizes have gone down while prices have gone up, they continually run out of ingredients like: fish, steak, tartare sauce etc. while the quality of the ingredients have also gone down. Their burgers are mediocre and often bland and honestly the prices can't be justified. You can't increase your prices and then offer below par food.Top A Lot is conveniently located in a small town, which is why we've given it so many chances. They deliver for free within the area if you spend $20 or more but honestly it's just not worth the feeling of being dissatisfied.Wait times for food isn't too bad - pick up wait times is generally around 30 mins while delivery wait times are around an hour (if that.)Awhile ago, maybe going back a year, the teenage staff used to be disinterested and would talk to each other rather than serve and their customer service over the phone was poor - but I've noticed lately that the staff have improved and are friendly and courteous.I wish that the food quality and stocking issue would improve because this used to be a great little take away shop and it would be nice to have the convenience back.

We have recently moved to this area, and love Wangi. We stumbled across Tuesday night specials at the RSL, and have been every Tuesday for over 4 months now. Also brought other members of our family & friends on other days. It's a great place, and very good food at good prices.

We visit here quite often. Lovely meals, generously proportioned and a wide range to suit all tastes. There can be quite a wait when it is busy. good range of drinks available. You can sit inside downstairs or chose to sit upstairs on the new verandah and take in the views. There is a fantastic kids play space, which would benefit from having easier access from inside, but I'm sure the intention is for parents to actively supervise their kids whilst they play.Thank you for your kind review. We are very proud of our newly renovated club and hope you come back and enjoy it again soon.RegardsManagement
