Come and enjoy a great meal at the Floating restaurant located at Brown's Bay Resort. Comfy booths and pine walls give the Restaurant a very friendly and cozy feel. The views are amazing! You are ON the water and look out over the busy waterway to Alaska.
Cool atmosphere in old floating restaurant. Good ceasar. Almost got carried away by bees outside and was super hot. Umbrella did the trick. Walk around the docks and se some harbor seals!

We stumbled upon this food truck/restaurant by chance. The name "takeout" can be misleading, since this place has the cutest outdoor seating area (~8 tables) right on the ocean. I ordered the fish (panko breaded halibut) and chips and I have never tasted anything quite like it - the fish was so fresh it melted in my mouth! I wish I lived in Campbell River because I would definitely visit this place on a weekly basis.

Great small seasonal restaurant - family owned and operated - locatged on the Spit, along the waterfront.
Went here based on the Trip Advisor reviews and wanting to try another fish n' chip place in Campbell River. We ordered the 2 piece cod fish n' chips and a bowl of clam chowder. This fish batter was very bready and quickly became soggy when the lemon was squeezed on it. The taste of the fish was good, but the batter reminded me of the breaded shrimp at Chinese takeout. The clam chowder tasted fine, but the clams were definitely either frozen or canned, as they were not fresh local clams. Local clams would have been two to three times the size of the tiny clams in the chowder. We may return to try the pies, but he fish n' chips need to have less batter and more crisp texture.

First time in. Comfortable seating. Great decor. Open kitchen, which we love. Interesting and creative menu. Nice wine menu, something for all budgets. The duck breast is fantastic! We will return.

Easy to find restaurant on the water. My husband and I both had halibut and chips and shared the popcorn shrimp. The halibut was lightly coated, juicy and nicely seasoned. The fries were exceptional and nice and crispy. The popcorn shrimp were fantastic. The coctktail sauce that was served with them could use a little work as it was overly tomato. Needs a little or more horseradish to give it some zip. Overall a quaint place for a rocking good lunch. Thanks very much for the review and cocktail sauce feedback. I've passed it to the chef. We're glad you enjoyed your time at our place.best,Michelle & Rick
